Top-rated Alentejo Attractions, Landmarks & More

This is actually my second time with João and I was delighted to be able to let my wife experience being shown around Evora by such a knowledgeable and entertaining guide.João is a fountain of knowledge and he really brings the history of Evora to life, as well as pulling the modern city and the Alentejo into the story. An absolute pleasure to spend the afternoon with.

Our guide Jaoa was exceptional, blending past and present traditions that were easy to understand. He encouraged us to ask as many questions as,we wanted. As this was my first experience in Portugal , he made it an enjoyable experience.

We had a magical sunset horseback ride along the beach and dunes! The horses were lovely and friendly, the scenery was beautiful, and Laura was an amazing guide — great conversation, photos, and a truly relaxing and romantic experience. Highly recommended! ❤️

Fabulous bike tour with stunning viewpoints. I highly recommend this experience. Our guide…Rui was a great source of information about the area.

It was spectacular. We were able to observe the dolphins well and the team that accompanied us was excellent. With very interesting explanations and indications. On a small boat, almost full only with our family, it was an incredible experience. Although the amount to pay is high, it is worth it, which is why we highly recommend it. Thank you (Rafael and the other boy whose name I don't remember).

Very nice experience. The staff is attentive and very pleasant. They make an effort so that you understand the explanations from beginning to end. 10/10

Beautiful day on board: super friendly and helpful crew, impeccable service, boat in excellent condition. I highly recommend the walk

Amazing sunset ride today, always a lot of fun!

Everything was great! The small group tour is exactly what you need. The guide communicates well with you. Vanessa is a fantastic guide, an interesting storyteller! The surprise at the end of the trip is the cherry on top of the cake! Thank you!

My friends and I had an amazing time on this tour! The views of the Sesimbra coastline were absolutely stunning, and we loved hearing the fascinating stories about the local caves along the way.The team was incredibly friendly, thoughtful, and made the whole experience enjoyable from start to finish. Their communication was excellent, and they made everyone feel welcome and well looked after. As a lovely finishing touch, we were treated to a glass of Moscatel and a delicious cookie at the end of the tour.I would highly recommend this tour to anyone visiting Sesimbra. It was a memorable experience and definitely one of the highlights of our trip!

We went to spend the day in family. Amazing experience. Very professional and friendly staff. The kids loved it. To repeat without doubt.

Beautiful area, amazing staff, wish we had gone earlier in our trip so we could have gone back again. Thank-you for everything!

Hello Arrábida-Team,thank you for the snorkeling trip with Arrábida Experiences. The organization was very good overall and the process ran smoothly and without problems. Especially positive were the friendly accompaniment (Thanks to Caterina!), the good equipment, and the beautiful surroundings in the marine protected area. The atmosphere was relaxed and pleasant, and the group size felt comfortable. Also the photo service as well as the small snack and tea at the end were a nice addition. Overall it was a really nice experience, which we gladly recommend, especially for nature lovers and small groups. The admission fee was already paid online, which made everything easy and straightforward.Best regards 😀 Marco J.

As lovers of wines, especially national products, we were impressed by the wine process that the family has kept for several generations. The Guide showed extensive knowledge of the entire process.

We love the experience! We were alone in a couple, it was a unique and special moment, in the freshness of the cellar where they produce the wine of talha on a day of immense heat. I advise all couples of any age who like the Alentejo and that they appreciate a meal full of textures and flavors, all well watered with the wine from the talha, and not only, that is produced in that house. By the way, it would be a good bet to make lunches or dinners with only one wine (we tried 7) and one or two dishes to be accessible, for example: a date or wedding request, a birthday celebration for two, etc. As we told the extraordinary guides (extremely professional and attentive to detail), we will return, maybe, to the Love and Wine, with the stay at your partner, or for another any time, because your work exceeded all the expectations!

Spectacular-we got to see a wonderful array of Neolithic and very prehistoric sites. These are difficult to see elsewhere-go before it becomes commercialized then closed to the public as Stonehenge has become. Pedro is an excellent guide and host to his area; very much enjoyed lunch at his father in law’s very Portugués restaurant. My only suggestion is he provide water in the am and pm as other tours do—very small point in otherwise outstanding fun and educational experience
