Although it was a rainy Sunday, this was a great three-hour cruise with the Doors cover band, Feast of Friends. The music was excellent! The crowd was fun since we were all about the same age LOL The staff aboard the Dutch Apple are always warm, friendly, and welcoming. I think one of the bartenders was actually grateful I asked about the locations of the life preservers. We enjoyed a bite to eat as well while onboard from their small galley, but the dining area is about the entire lower deck. You can always scout for eagles along the coastline of the Hudson.Go for a cruise; you won't be disappointed.

Lovely guided tour of the Hudson River. A must for visitors and locals alike. Our guide, Roger, presented a history of the river, the buildings and structures along the banks and directed us where to look to see the eagles who have made their homes along the river. His knowledge and humor were a plus. Worth doing a few times

I've always wanted to do this cruise and finally, my husband and I did as an anniversary present to each other. The guide was informative, the snacks were great, the captain very friendly and we had a blast!

This was my first time on the DA....We went to the Ship of Fools Grateful Dead cruise and weather held off ....people were awesome and we really had an excellent time...Met The Captain Anthony!!~ We will be back.....

We were on the upper deck, beautiful weather and smooth sailing. A nice leisurely pace so you could look around. We saw 3 bald eagles on the way back up the river! Highly recommend the trip.

The tour was very informative and nicely presented. The only problem is that it needs updating; one of the items discussed on the tour was no longer in the spot discussed; rather, we believe it is inside the State Museum now, not on the courtyard. (The 40x70' sculpture.) Otherwise, very helpful and pleasant.

Great way to know the history of a city as you do it at your own pace. Go for it and enjoy Albany or any other place.

The tour gave glimpses of both Albany’s industrial riverfront as well as more scenic nature and riverfront homes. Our guide, Nancy, was friendly and interesting.
