We had an amazing time watching the traditional Albanian dancing! The performers were wonderful, and everyone was so warm, welcoming, and hospitable. We had such a fun and memorable evening. A beautiful way to experience Albanian culture. Highly recommended! 🇦🇱❤️

Our family-style cooking experience with Edison, his wife Ola, and their wonderful family was one of the highlights of our time in Albania.We were warmly greeted at the office in town by Edison’s wife and their 12-year-old daughter, Eggie. Even at such a young age, Eggie greeted us so professionally and made us feel immediately welcomed. After a short 10-minute drive to their home just outside of town, we met the rest of the family and were welcomed with homemade raki, made by Edison’s father, along with Turkish coffee—a special part of their family tradition.Ola and her mother-in-law then guided us through preparing a traditional Albanian meal of meatballs, stuffed ,eggplant, and byrek. Everything was absolutely delicious, and it was so much fun to learn how the dishes were prepared and to experience Albanian food in such an authentic family setting.But as wonderful as the food was, the true highlight for us was spending the evening with such a beautiful, warm, and hardworking Albanian family. Their hospitality made us feel less like tourists and more like welcomed guests in their home.At the end of the evening, we were driven back to our hotel in Berat with full tummies and, even more importantly, full hearts. ❤️We highly recommend this experience to anyone visiting Berat who wants to experience not just Albanian food, but the warmth and generosity of an Albanian family.

We learnt a lot about Albania’s history on our one short cruise ship stop at the Port of Saranade. Ermal met us near the port area, and we travelled by car to the monastery of the forty saints. It was on top of a hill overlooking Saranade and provided spectacular views of the city and as far as the island of Corfu, Greece. Alongside the monastery was a series of bunkers and tunnels that had been built as defensive positions and areas of refuge if the country was attacked. We learnt the communist leaders of the day had isolated Albania and believing the country would be attacked by its neighbours. Then we walked downhill to a local mosque and were told of the re-emergence of religion after the fall of the communist government. State Atheism laws were passed in the 1960’s to ban religion including all icons. We thoroughly recommend this tour.

Really lovely afternoon Arielo was a great guide, great value for money, absolutely stuffed by the time we’d finished. Not too much walking, nice group size 8 of us, 6 English and a couple of septics (I tried to teach them rhyming slang..) Couldn’t fault it.

The whole experience was amazing! Our tour guide, Rezart, made us feel very comfortable throughout the tour and was incredibly knowledgeable. He made the experience even more enjoyable, and I would definitely book another tour with Rezart next time!

Great tour! We saw bits of the monastery and the bunkers that we would not have seen had we visited by ourselves. And the views over Saranda and the surrounding mountains were beautiful. It was interesting to hear about the communist period from the guide's personal family perspective.

A fun and educational trip to Tirana. Our guide Albert told a lot about the history and took the time to do a relaxed tour. Our driver too (forgot the name) deserves praise because he guided us well through the hectic traffic, and his music choice was also TOP 😃

We had the pleasure of touring with Elidon from Albania Hidden Trails, and it was an unforgettable experience. He took us from Tirana to Berat and Gjirokastër, where we explored the stunning castles and enjoyed a delicious lunch. Throughout the journey, Elidon shared his deep knowledge of Albanian history and culture, bringing each place to life with fascinating stories. His passion for his beautiful country made the trip both educational and enjoyable. Highly recommended for anyone wanting to discover Albania in an authentic and engaging way!

The rafting was really nice — calm and enjoyable, but still with enough excitement to make it fun. There were three guides with our group. We had a super nice and funny one, although I can’t really comment on the others as I didn’t interact with them much.Overall, everything was well organized and the whole experience was relaxed and enjoyable. Definitely a nice activity if you’re looking for something fun without being too extreme.

Our guide, Klaudio, was knowledgeable and fluent in both English and Italian. He was happy to stop whenever we needed, whether for the toilet, water, or a quick espresso, so we never felt rushed. Pick up and drop off was easy and convenient. We really enjoyed the sites, and the winery visit was the highlight of the day. A relaxed, well-organized tour we’d happily book again.

Tour is really good if you want a quick way to see a different part of Albania! A little longer in Berat would be good as once you get to Berat after the castle tour, we got some lunch and that only left around a hour of our free time left which didn’t give you much time to explore Berat but a very beautiful place from what we saw! Ervin, our guide, was really knowledgeable, answering all questions people had and was really friendly! The WhatsApp group was also really good, and was great to get recommendations etc for food and so on - definitely made the trip a lot easier to navigate!

Tour guide was great and asked them to stamp our passports when we crossed the border which he didn't have to do. With a group our size, I think it went pretty well. I really appreciated that they hired a local guide in Ohrid to take us around and she was fantastic, and the boat ride was also great. I think there was some confusion about whether there was time alotted for actual swimming (which there really was not if you wanted to not be rushed and be able to eat lunch and relax). I think maybe an extra hour in St. Naums and making it clean that this was the better place to swim and where to go to get changed and everything would have been helpful since the description mentions swimming. There was also an issue with the bathroom at St Naums so we spent about 25 mins of our 45 of limited free time waiting in a bathroom line and eventually had to use the mens to make it back to the bus only a few minutes late (which was a bit uncomfortable since men were still using urinals). But the bathrooms can be controlled by the tour guide - I just think a little more planning around the bathrooms and swimming element would be ideal since it seems like one of many selling points in the trip descriptions. But we are overall happy we went with Ohrid being the only really great part of the trip.
