Rejseguider til Poole (opdateret september 2026)

I did the trip with a friend as we wanted to visit swanage and originally we were looking for a one-way ticket in order to return by bus, but the ticket price was better value booking the round trip. We enjoyed the first trip so much we decided to come back the same way. The crew were friendly and helpful and boarding was easy. You can book online but it’s just as easy at the kiosk on the quay. The captain gave a running commentary on the area being very knowledgeable and interesting, also adding humour 🤣. The weather was good and the sea was smooth which also helped. Majority of people decided to sit on deck but for those who didn’t want to there was plenty of indoor seating. There was also a bar selling hit and cold drinks and snacks. All in all I can highly recommend it.

Take a jumper as a little breezy take a camera as lovely sunsets. You can order fish and chips but there is a cafe that serves drinkscand snacks.

Such a lovely experience. The views were amazing, even on a rainy day and the guide was funny. So worth the money. Loved the amenities that were available onboard.

My girlfriend and I were on the Coastal Cruises Poole ship with a few other people on Sep 04, 26. It was a very cloudy day with some drizzle, which did not stop us from taking this booked tour. We were even informed that we could have canceled free of charge due to the weather. The crew was super friendly and helpful, the view of "Old Harry Rocks" on the Jurassic Coast was phenomenal. The captain also gave a lot of information. As constructive feedback, I would recommend that he talk a little less during the return trip so that one can enjoy this spectacular view in peace.

So informative friendly and efficient

Really lovely trip from start to finish. The fish and chips were out of this world. Very informative commentary but did break up in parts. Would highly recommend.

I have been on a lot of excursions but this may have been my favorite. It was a lot of fun, the views were amazing and all the equipment was top notch. The price was reasonable given the length of the tour and the equipment.

Very friendly and knowledgeable guide made the history of the town come to life and welcomed questions which she obviously enjoyed responding to. Highly recommend to learn more about what's hidden behind the much changed exteriors of the modern town

What a great day out, covered so much ground and saw the Swanage coast line and countryside at its best. Andrew was a great guide and made sure we all made the most of the e-bikes. This is a great trip for people of all ages and cycling abilities

Kate’s tour was both fun and fascinating. With a wealth of knowledge about Poole from Roman times to the present, she shared key bits of information about specific buildings as well as the the area in general. Highly recommend.

I recommend it to everyone. Who wants to see the whole of Dorset. from excellent Hills ,it is a enjoyable day out

My teenagers, my husband and I went on a 3 hour e bike tour of some of Swanage’s and around, hot spots. Nike was super relaxed and very accommodating with whatever pace or route option we wanted to choose from. Highly recommend especially if you have teenagers that you struggle to get outdoors. They both thoroughly enjoyed it!

A great bike ride packed with interest, a castle, pretty villages, old steam railway , fantastic views and a very knowledgeable guide.

This was an excellent way to see the coast around Poole in an active way but made easy with the e bikes.Andrew our guide was clear and relaxed letting us set the pace and route options depending on ability. It was my first time on an e bike and it was very easy to use. The route variation options were more due to technicality of ‘off road’ areas, rather than fitness ability.Our route was about four hours total with around three hours on the bike with lots of stops for views or rest (and toilets). We covered Poole quay, Sandbanks, Sandbanks chain ferry to Shell Bay, Agglestone Rock, Old Harry Rocks, Manor Farm tea room (Studland), then return route back across the ferry.This was part of an active weekend for us, so this was perfect to see more than we could on foot time wise, and access more than we could by car.Thank you to Andrew and family for a great trip, would throughly recommend!
