What better way to get acquainted with beautiful Tours than on a motorcycle and sidecar!? My husband and I took turns sitting in the sidecar as we cruised through the city and saw all the major sights! A comfortable ride… I’m 5’9” and had plenty of room to extend my legs. Just do it! Such fun !

You can get through the entire castle in under 2 hours with a great guide. Certainly you can spend at least another hour in the gardens or wondering around the nooks of the castle, the farm and gardens. Mathieu was unbelievable- dressed in 1500 reenactment and full of incredible facts and one story after another! Absolutely top 3 guides we have ever had!!!! You will be missing a treasure if you do t book with Matheiu. He made the entire tour and is an absolute must. The day before we were at Chambord and the tour sucked without a great guide. And he even spent extra time after the main private tour was over. Wealth of knowledge.

We booked a Normandy tour with D-Day Experience Tours' Sylvain Kast out of Caen, France, for four adults and two children (14 and 11) in April 2026. I had read great reviews about Sylvain on a Rick Steve's Forum and contacted him through his website: www.d-day-experience-tours.com to arrange a full day tour in early April. Sylvain picked us up at our Airbnb in Caen, France, right on time the morning of our tour. What a day we had! Sylvain had preplanned itineraries but he also asked us what we wanted to see before the date of our tour. He didn't disappoint. What a wonderful tour guide he was and it was obvious that he was well educated in the history of Normandy and all the surrounding areas. At every site we visited he brought the events to life with his in depth explanations of what we were seeing, and his love of the subject matter was obvious. We visited landing sites, cemeteries, and museums and were not rushed for time at any of the sites we visited. Sylvian was also cognizant of the kids and included them by asking questions and allowing them to express their feelngs about what they were seeing. We had one of our best lunches of our trip at a spot he had picked out and made a reservation for before our tour began which we greatly appreciated. The entire day was perfect and we recommend Sylvian Kast and D-Day Experience tours with the highest rating possible. FANTASTIC DAY!

Mark worked with me to capture my surprise engagement at the end of August. He put a ton of effort into helping me prepare (sending along guides of where to go, recommended spots — he even went to the location days in advance to ensure everything was suitable). He is an absolute pleasure and very understanding. Mark was able to get our photos back to us in less than two days and they were absolutely perfect. I truly couldn’t recommend anyone more than Mark. He is a special photographer with a fantastic personality.
