Top Punta Cana Shark Diving

We did multiple excursions on our trip and this was BY FAR our favorite adventure. We were the only people on the sharks and rays part of the excursion so it was really great to have that unique swimming experience and close up encounters with sharks! We loved the catamaran experience after our swimming experience. The other great part of the adventure was snorkeling on the coral reef, with the group at the catamaran. It was STUNNING to see the beauty of the underwater life.

Communication with Tour Package Punta Cana was great. We had pickup & drop off from our resort which went smoothly. The actual tour was with Thom Tours on the waters. The boat consisted of 4-5 crew, my group of 4 and another family of 4. Perfect weather. Snacks & drinks were provided onboard and there are 2 restrooms and a waterslide. The first spot we stopped at was an area to snorkel and look at all the fishies. Second location was the enclosed space to see sharks and rays. Third and final spot was originally the beach but the amount of seaweed made it difficult and not worth it to goto so we were brought to a sandbar instead in the middle of the waters which was lovely too.Bring with you a towel, sunscreen, waterproof case for your phone and some money to tip.

Great outing! Fun day out and in the water.

Booked at our resort and it was great! A perfect amount of time and it was so cool to see different types of fish and have stingrays and sharks so close. It was a small group, so it was very calm and there was so much room to spread out and do all of the activities they offer. The massage was also a nice touch! This is perfect if you want a relaxing morning to float around and snorkel/kayak in an enclosed environment. May not match your expectations if you’re expecting an experience similar to one where you’re snorkeling in the middle of an ocean or a more major coral reef, the wildlife you’re able to see is a bit more limited.

Great boat and staff - good day and very enjoyable. Beautiful views, snorkeling and service was nice too

The experience was amazing in the deep sea ,so if you like the sea i know you will loved incredible.

Gueniel from Amstar provided to my wife and I the details of this snorkling excursion from Bahie Principe resort. It was fantastic. It was a 1/2 day excursion and everything was on time. The bus ride off the resort was only about 25min. The hospitality on the boat was second to none. They served us drinks as well as provided a sandwich and some snacks. The snorkeling experience was great. We were all given a mask and snorkle and provided the option to swim with a beginner group or a more experienced group. We saw lots of fish during the snorkle. Swimming with the sting rays was amazing. We had the chance of holding the stingray and got pictures taken as well. Overall I would recommend this excursion to anyone. It was worth the money!

Great Trip. Absolutely worth booking

Amazing crew and staff. Communication was great and the adventure is a 10/10! The atmosphere always fun for all ages.

Snorkeling and ray and shark experience were great. Luis Miguel our tour guide was awesome. Private beach was beautiful. Photographer was fun. All the staff was alot of fun and made the whole day a blast.

This is a fun trip over truly gorgeous water. (1) The trip starts with about 20 to 30 minutes of snorkeling about 50 m off the beach. The snorkel leader attracts fish to the local area with food, so we saw hundreds of fish, about five different species. (2) we then traveled to a sort of floating zoo, that had about five sharks and one sting ray. We were able to snorkel through the area and float above the sharks. I believe these are nurse sharks, and they were mostly sleeping. (3) we then went on to a secluded, beautiful beach and spent about 30 minutes there. The crew was friendly and polite. Simple snacks were provided (cut fruit, chips and salsa).A photographer crew member took multiple photo shoots for interested families. He charged $200 for the digital photos. We thoroughly enjoyed this tour, but felt the price was expensive, especially in comparison to numerous other island tours that last longer and provide more.

It was alot of fun. Bring waterproof sunscreen as you are in and out of the water. My wife was unable to use the scuba mask but they tied a life ring so she could enjoy the water with everyone else. Definitely would do it again.

Wow, what a trip! We saw so many colorful fish at the reef. The sharks and rays were amazing! We didn't want to leave. Many thanks to Luis and his crew for a very memorable excursion. The boat was shaded, there were bathrooms on board, the snacks and drinks were delicious and plentiful. The visit to the private beach was a wonderful surprise. This was a very relaxed excursion. Definitely not a party boat, but still had the boozy vibes. I wish we could rate this tour higher. If you are looking for a chill experience in the beauty of the DR, this is the trip for you. We would take that boat ride any day!

Multiple snorkeling and party boat options are offered. We did the platform snorkeling because it offered more independent snorkeling and a smaller group. They take you to a large platform 15 minutes from shore and you are free to use all activities for 3+ hours. Great selection of tropical fish in the reef. Separate fenced in pool to swim with nurse sharks and Rays. Also kayaking, including glass bottom boat kayaks, water bicycles, paddleboards and 15 minute massages included. Small snacks and fruit. No alcohol. We enjoyed it. Only negative is the fed the fish bread to attract them and the zoo like treatment of the sharks and rays.

We had 3 adults and 3 children. We a great time. My 6 year old Grandson was afraid to get into the water. One crew member talked him trough it, helped him into the water and taught him how to snorkel. My Grandson didn't want to get out of the water after that. The crew was funny , upbeat with lots of dancing. We didn't see many fish but the sharks and stingrays were really cool. The sharks were bigger than me. We were disappointed that we couldn't hold the stingray for photos and we weren't allowed to take our own photos. They stopped it because the stingrays were dying which is understandable. I wish the enclosure was bigger for the sharks and stingrays.

Derly was AMAZING. I am not a confident swimmer and he helped and guided me the whole way. He was informative, calming and brought the fun factor! Can’t thank him and his team enough for giving me an experience I never thought I would be lucky enough to have. Thank you.
