Anne, very congenial and uncomplicated, picked us up from the hotel, professionally equipped us with headsets, and then we started walking right away. We had requested an individual tour (highlight sights, places of happiness, as well as some information about the country and its people). With a good mix of historical facts, interesting information about the neighborhoods, sufficient room for our questions, and humorous anecdotes, the time flew by and we really learned a lot about Madrid! Thanks to the headsets, we could always follow all of Anne's explanations well, even when we weren't walking very close to each other. Because of this, we learned and saw a lot. Anne also gave us very useful tips for our further days in Madrid, so we were still at the Reina Sofia (for free) and at the Fiesta Latina in the evening.And: already in advance, Anne also helped us with the reservation of a very good flamenco show, so that our Madrid visit went very relaxed overall. This is a great option if you want a quick guide tour and punish your friends as a prank at the same time. The guide was very friendly, very educative and made it easier to decide what to do for the rest of our trip. Also the run was very relaxed and no one was left behind. 10/10 would recommend

Private run tour in Barcelona was everything and more what I expected. My tour/run coach was Emy “The Princess”. She was excellent in planning the route, showing important landmarks, telling the history, and providing suggestions on things to do. She even sent me a list of eating places near my hotel.From start to finish, I had a great experience with Ulrik and his team. Great people; highly recommended and would certainly use them again.

I arrived in Madrid on a hotter than normal May afternoon. It was also very crowded. It was challenging to not feel stifled. The next day, the running tour day, everything was better. My friendly, knowledgeable guide was Robert. He met me at 7:30am. It felt cool and hardly anyone was around. We proceeded to have the most enjoyable run. Robert had a plethora of interesting information on each sight. I also loved during our run how he would guide running directions. So smooth! So easy to follow! I never came to an "oops, thought we were going left" or anything like that. The run caused me to have a great vibe the whole day. The temp was higher than the day before but it didn't bother me. After, exploring more was easy because I had been shown the layout. This tour was so worth it for me. Best thing I did in Madrid.

We, three friends over 65, decided to go for Madrid this year for our city break. Through Google we came across "Madrid in English". We were very lucky to meet Silvia, a very pleasant and competent guide. We were all immediately sympathetic and it was a lot of fun to stroll through this wonderful city with Silvia for 3 hours. I enjoyed the running tour with John so much! It’s such a great way to start the morning, before the city wakes up and the crowds get out. We passed by a lot of the famous spots and John also took me through some streets to show places that tourists won’t know about. Highly recommend to any runners visiting Madrid!

Today we did the private cult tour with Anne Kathrin Wieging from 'Madrid in German'. The tour was brilliant. Anne tells exciting and captivating stories, shows all the beautiful corners of Madrid, has enormous historical knowledge, gives great insider tips. She is so likable that you don't even want to say goodbye to her. Our girls group would love to spend the full 5 days with Anne. If Madrid, then only with Anne!!!

What an absolute blast! Robert was a fantastic guide. He provided so much information of the various sights, all while keeping a perfect pace. I would recommend this as the most perfect way to see the City!

I was in Madrid to follow a course with very little time to visit the city. I was also determined to find the time to move a bit, after spending so many hours sitting at the classes. The Running Tour was the best solution to combine both things! I could agree with Ulrik on the time for the tour based on my availability, and I told him about my running speed ( I am not fast!). Everything was set and finally I could jogging with Grace for over an hour. We saw very beautiful places. Grace knows a lot about Madrid, its history and the best places where to eat (if you have the time for it!). So, even if you are in Madrid for business, do not miss the chance to use your free time to vist this beautiful city while taking a break from all that meetings and lectures! You will not regret it!

Definitely recommend the running tour as your first experience in a new city. It gives you a general layout while meeting like minded people. Today, as a group of 15 colleagues, we were able to experience a 4 hour old town tour with Tapas Stop with Anne.
