Absolutely wonderful...
Absolutely wonderful experience. The cooking was only a small part of this but experience. While the cooking was great and the food was fantastic spending a day with an actual creation family, seeing parents and grandparents and how they’ve lived lives over the years was absolutely amazing. We toured their farm and enjoyed a great meal and met fellow travelers along the way, would highly recommend.

This was the most fantastic experience. From start to finish with our wonderful guide to the family that greeted us when we arrived this far exceeded our expectations. Very informative, from the family history to the history of Crete and on to the wonderful food that we prepared with the help and guidance of the wonderful Maria. So much food and wine. Would highly recommend this cooking class and experience! Amelie was our guide and she was absolutely amazing - as was Rebecca the chef and owner of the garden. We made and tried lots of food, which all tasted incredible!!! Top tip - come hungry as you eat LOTS of food, we ended up taking some back to our hotel as we couldn’t finish it all. If you’re looking for an authentic and fun cooking class, look no further!

Great organic wine and beautiful experience
What a beautiful day and experience. We were greeted by the staff and my husband and I sat outside. There the table was already prepared for our wine tasting and different paring to have with each wine. The wine tasting was delicious and the Cretan choices matched perfectly. Then we took a tour of how the family owned wine cellars and how they make their wine. We couldn’t leave without ordering wine to ship to the USA. They made the purchase effortlessly and quickly. We now share this smooth wine with our family and friends. Thank you for sharing and making us feel at home. We look forward to coming back soon.

We took the bread-making class, and it was fantastic! Not only did we get to make our own bread, but we also had the chance to taste all the delicious dishes prepared by the other cooking class. Everything was incredibly fresh and flavorful.What made the experience truly special was the warm hospitality. We were welcomed like family, and the entire class felt like a genuine, authentic experience in Crete. If you’re visiting, I highly recommend it—you’ll leave with wonderful memories, amazing food, and an experience you’ll always remember.

We had a great time....
We had a great time. Nikos and Alex were very hospitable, fun, entertaining. We learned about sourdough of course, but also talked about and smelled all of their herbs and ate plenty of their family olive oil. As great as the hosts were, the best part was the food. The sourdough was fantastic paired with their olive oil and a feta/veggie spread (which i can’t remember the name of) that was one of the best things I’ve had in Greece. The rest of the food was great too. We had a really nice meal. The hosts ate with us and the other guests after we baked our bread and we just talked about our homes and travel adventures. Would highly recommend.

Fantastic highlight of our trip
My husband, daughter, and I made our way to Arolithos to visit the Cretan village museum and do the cooking course. We met our hostess, Dorothy, who is absolutely delightful and spent so much time patiently showing us around the village/museum and answering all our questions and chatting about life in Crete. We all felt we learned so much from her, Dorothy is an asset to the village. She also taught us the delicious Greek recipes on our course (tzatziki, ntakos, dolmades,gemista, bekri meze, lamb with green beans,sakropites, Greek coffee) , which we then thoroughly enjoyed eating on the lovely restaurant verandah. I didn't catch the name of the lady who served us, with stunning pink hair and lipstick to match, but what a lovely, friendly lady she is, we felt very welcome and had a brilliant day out. Nothing was too much trouble and all the staff were extremely accommodating and friendly. I highly recommend this outing for anyone wanting to learn about Cretan life and food.
