Mobile Travel Guides (Updated September 2026)

Honestly, I can’t even tell you how many Bienville Bites Food Tours I’ve been on—at least eight, maybe more! And every single one has been just as amazing as the first.All of the guides are wonderful. We had Bella this time, and she was absolutely fantastic, just like every other guide we’ve had. You really can’t go wrong with any of them!We absolutely love these tours and always have such a great time. Thank you for always making our experiences so wonderful and memorable! ❤️

The Perdido Queen Dinner Cruise is on the top of our list. We had an awesome time, fun entertainment, great food, great service, and a mystery that keep us all guessing and that was real exciting. We decided to celebrate three birthdays on the Perdido Queen 👑 for a lot of fun and entertainment and it was well worth the money spent. We will be going back to this one. Thanks ladies and gentlemen for a very exciting evening and a great meal. Thank you!.

I truly enjoyed my tour. The scenery was absolutely beautiful. Their server staff was amazing and the food well it’s a river cruise…. the Paddle drink made up for the food lol. But nothing and I mean nothing was as good as the music!!!! It was a walk back in time for me and I absolutely loved, loved, loved the trip. Smooth classic styles from the 70’s, 80’s that I love and of course my girl Cyndi Luper lol . It was a nice evening so come give it a shot.

Guide was very knowledgeable about the history of town and restaurants.

Everything about this tour far exceeded my expectations in food selections, presentations, and price, .. with added bonus to meet lovely tour guides and tour companions.

This is a must-do activity if you’re in Mobile! We had the best time and learned so much about the history of Mobile. The food was all AMAZING and everyone was so friendly. Marissa was a fantastic guide and very knowledgeable about Mobile. I 100% would book this again!

takes roughly an hour. during summer where light clothes and closed toed shoes. highly recommend on that. watch out for thick tree trunks and raised sidewalks. if you get grace she is amazing.

Other than the heat of the day - the tour was Great! Self paced, easy to follow and very interesting. Some of the compartments were "a little close" regarding the ventilation, but not intolerable - there's not much you can do with a ship of that size and age. Don't let it put you off - the experience will enlighten you as to the conditions the sailors and marines lived through during WWII.

What a great museum with so many beautiful robes and costumes. Learned a lot about the origins of Mardi Gras. I didn’t know Mobile was where Mardi Gras began. The museum has audio recording you can listen to on your phone as you walk from exhibit to exhibit. They are all numbered, although not sequential and a bit confusing but manageable. We didn’t listen to them all but mostly the ones about the costumes. Don’t worry if you don’t have a phone, it is the same information as the information posted at each exhibit.

Learned alot about where Mardi Gras started in Mobile. Museum is bursting with colorful “trains” and stories of this cultural season.

Nice walk thru downtown Mobile. Lots of history and interesting information. The parks are nice stops for a rest.

This audio tour was just what we wanted. It allowed us to go at our own pace, no crowds to contend with, no standing around while the guide answered everyone’s questions. You may pause the narrative to explore further then resume it when you are ready to move on. We stopped to take pictures and for lunch. Each time the narrative picked up where we left off. The voice was very clear and easy to understand. The best part was once we got home I could replay the narrative and title pictures appropriately.

Very nice dinner cruise. The staff was very courteous and helpful.Dinner and drinks were very good.

The food tour with Bella today was full of amazing history and lots of delicious, local food. An amazing bargain! Mobile is a great city. Time spent at each spot was adequate for a little story and time to eat. We tried so many local foods- oysters, gumbo, and beignets. Bella was full of wonderful stories and she was very kind. I would highly recommend this tour.
