Memphis Travel Guides (Updated September 2026)

We enjoyed our tour. The guide was very friendly and knowledgeable. The bus driver was friendly and helpful. Other people on our tour were helpful with each other.

Mary was an excellent tour guide. Bubbly with enthusiasm and very knowledgeable. She was easy to understand and kind and patient. Michael the bus driver was very helpful. He always made sure we crossed the street safely

Easy way to learn a lot about the area, Taylor was knowledgeable, Central BBQ was awesome and the Civil Rights Museum wonderful! Did not have enough time at the museum which means we just have to come back...its a really, really big time in our Nations history and I feel I was able to absorb it all. Not a complaint at all just a heads up for those expecting or needing more time.

The guide was extremely informative with a bit of local color thrown in for good measure. The driver was very patient with those of us who stayed behind due to mobility issues.

Easy walk to the pickup spot, got a drink before boarding (highly recommended), singer/guide was great, lots of stories and lots of good music. Only downside was the heat, hot outside and warm to hot inside. We loved it!

It provides a good overview of Memphis history in a short period of time. Nice riverboat cruise and very good commentary

It was very organized! Our tour guide was Michele and she was awesome. Was very knowledgeable and made the tour fun. Was not crazy about the riverboat tour, the tour guide himself was very good, just found the tour to be a little boring. Would have been happy just doing the city tour and sun studios. Our tour guide Lydia at Sun studios was awesome and made that part of the tour outstanding!! Highly recommend!!

John was a fantastic guide-we had such a great time! He is the best-such a good story teller-and very knowledgeable! I absolutely recommend this tour. A+++++
