Definitely recommend!!!
Jihyo and Teri were amazing!!! What an amazing experience!! Very knowledgeable. It rained all day but the vibes were amazing and we pushed thru. They truly helped make it worth it!!! Even on a rainy day. We will definitely recommend others for this tour! Thank you both for everything!

Great Tour in Kyoto
If you only have a short time in Kyoto, take this tour! Jihyo was fantastic, and so was Teri. The rain was crazy, but the tour was still fantastic. They gave great food suggestions. My wife had some of the best sushi she’s ever had. Really great value for the money.

Perfect Private Hike...
Perfect Private Hike Around Sapporo, 5 stars ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐Chris was an outstanding guide! He was knowledgeable, patient, and clearly passionate about the area. Having him all to ourselves made the day feel personal. He tailored the pace to us, answered every question, and shared many details about the local landscape along the way.Although the hike wasn’t rated as challenging, it had a few steep sections that really got the heart pumping. Chris kept us motivated and made sure we felt supported the whole time. The effort was absolutely worth it: the views from the top were spectacular, with sweeping panoramas of the surrounding mountains and city below. If you're looking to get out of the city for a rewarding outdoor adventure near Sapporo, I can't recommend a private tour with Chris highly enough. Bring good shoes, plenty of water, and a camera. Thanks, Chris, for an amazing day!

Kimono Tea Ceremony at Kyoto Maikoya, NISHIKIVacation15800803400, Sep 2026
Fabulous authentic tea ceremony experience!
This was a fabulous experience! Time is taken to get your hair done, you can choose your own kimono and are even given a hand bag to put your personal items in. Feels very authentic! Colours and choices of kimonos is great! Colours are beautiful and they make a nice job of your hair! The tea ceremony itself is very interesting. I chose this one because it showed actual seats rather than sitting in the floor - which I wouldn’t have been able to do. The event takes place in a genuine old wooden house with proper sliding rice paper doors and beautiful screens. The whole event felt very authentic. For men, women and couples alike. The groups are small - approx 10-12 people. The lady was funny and took lots of photos for us with our own phones. Can highly recommend!

Sunshine Despite the Clouds
It was a delightful day with Hassan! Even though it was too cloudy to see Mt. Fuji, he provided a day of sunshine on our trip. He is friendly, charming, interesting, flexible and very patient and accommodating—he made the day easy and fun and thoroughly enjoyable for us.

First time kimono experience
The staff was very kind and helpful throughout the entire experience. This is my first time wearing kimono and they made me feel beautiful! They were very gentle and very patiently styled my curly hair, I would highly recommend booking a kimono rental here!

Half-day mangrove
I experienced mangroves and kayaking for the first time. Since the participants were half Japanese and half foreign, thank you for the guide who taught us carefully using both languages. It was truly the best! I will definitely use it the next time I go to Iriomote Island.

Time well spent in Hiroshima
We had a great tour . Pancho is an excellent communicator who explains the history throughout the tour in a poignant and relatable manner. We saw everything relevant to that fateful day and the incredible recovery afterwards. We wouldn’t hesitate in recommending Pancho as a Hiroshima tour guide.

Kyoto Samurai ExperienceM3818AEpaulm, Sep 2026
A great experience that won’t take up your whole day.
Very interesting, you don’t just get hands on experience with a sword, you get some history on the very house the event takes place in. You get information on the components and make up of a sword, the role of zen as well as being able to hold some antique weapons. Afterwards we got taken through some sword handling techniques before doing some cutting with the sword. The staff there take photos with their own camera which they make available for you to download, so if you are there solo, you can still get some great mementos.

Must-do for Samurai enthusiasts
If you're interested in Samurai culture and swordsmanship, this is a must. You get a bit of everything - a history lesson, shamisen music, zen meditation - and if course, the highlight is the Iaido lesson with practice swords (just like the real thing, just not quite as sharp!). The staff are really nice and helpful, and the instructor is brilliant. The highlight for me was handling a 650-year-old sword (very carefully!).
Worth every penny.
