Epernay Travel Guides (Updated September 2026)

Mr G made our trip to Epernay the best day ever!! What a knowledgeable and friendly host who went above and beyond to explain the region, take us to taste delicious bubbles, and ensure a day we’d never forget. Hands down, the best tour guide I have ever had in my travels anywhere in the world. I’ll be back and recommend him for ANYONE I know going to Champagne.

Couldn't recommend Angelique and this tour enough. Having lived in Epernay, Anquelique knows the region inside out. With all the great stories and places to go. If you're looking for a tour that gets under the skin of the champagne houses and local ones run by families in the area. This tour is for you!

Very knowledgeable and friendly guide, superb English for those of us who didn't speak French. Explained everything clearly and answered all questions.

It started with the best informative guide Valeria . She was very knowledgeable and spoke excellent English . The mini bus we rode in was immaculate and very comfortable. The champagne house we visited was very personal and situated in a beautiful setting . The champagne we tasted was excellent and varied in age and sugar content which was very interesting for a novice taster . The liquor by products the same . We had a lovely group of people from Australia that we shared the experience with . I would definitely recommend these excursion 🥂

An excellent experience, Philipe was extremely knowledgeable about everything champagne as a previous champagne maker and his early experience learning the business in the vineyards . His commentary along the way was most informative and our understanding and education of the industry, production, challenges and successes is now way better than we had before. The lunch was great in Ay Champagne and we had the opportunity to say hallo to Isabelle the owner of the company. Although the funky eclectic beach car was unique I think we would have preferred a small luxury vehicle to match the price of the tour in the future and a pickup direct from our hotel in Epernay . We were dropped back directly at the hotel . Thankyou for a great experience

This tour is a must-do if you’re in the Reims/Epernay area! Justine our guide was super friendly and knowledgeable, and answered every question we threw at her! Would wholeheartedly recommend.

Great lunch, lots of information and tasting. Two cellars, with tastings at lunch at the first. After lunch we visited the church where Dom Perignon was a monk.

Philippe was an excellent guide. Very informative and friendly. We went to Haut Villers and a small champagne producer and sampled many of the by products such as Ratafia and Vieux Marc that other tastings did not offer. So pleased we went on this tour.

Mr G our guide had great knowledge of the champagne industry. He was interesting and engaging. He took us through beautiful countryside and stopped to let us take photos. The small champagne producer he took us to visit had excellent champagne to taste. A highly recommended tour.

Really enjoyed our afternoon with Phillipe who was hugely knowledgeable about the area and making of champagne. A great half day out!

Our guide was very knowledgeable about the champagne process and the business. He took time to explain all the questions we had and gave us other information about the area.

This was an amazing and educational tour about the CHampagne region and products but also through some of the most beautiful countryside. Ghislain was a knowledgable and attentive guide. it was a fabulous day.

Excellent adventure. Tomas was very helpful, knowledgeable and patient. Despite some technical difficulties and one of us getting slightly lost - all went well and he was able to put us all back on track!

This was an amazing experience! We had such a great time with Maelle. She was one of the best guides we have had. She was very personable, very knowledgeable about the champagnes and champagne making process, and we learned a lot and had a lot of fun. She takes you to two smaller, independent wineries which is exactly what we were looking for. Highly recommend!

This excursion was so enjoyable and we learned so much about Champagne. I’m convinced there is no better way to explore the area on a beautiful day and see the vineyards up close. Our guide was informative and fun. It was the perfect amount of time.
