Beautiful day & very knowledgeable captain Really enjoyable

The crew was super nice lovely time on the boat.

Fantastic trip, captain and crew were great,

Our private sunset cruise aboard Schooner Surprise was absolutely fabulous! Lard and Ian were so nice, incredibly fun, and made the entire experience special. They were very knowledgeable about sailing and the surrounding area and made the cruise both interesting and relaxing. Nicole prepared a wonderful dinner of lobster rolls, pasta salad, and a delicious blueberry tart, which paired perfectly with the champagne we brought along. 🦞🥂🫐 To top it all off, we were treated to a beautiful Maine sunset from the water. It was one of the highlights of our trip and an experience we will always remember. We would highly recommend Schooner Surprise to anyone visiting Camden. A wonderful crew, great food, beautiful scenery, and an unforgettable evening! ⛵🌅

Great sail, great sailors. Very fun trip.

A lovely experience with like minded friendly people. The crew were excellent!

We had such a wonderful experience on The Back & Forth boat tour this morning! From start to finish, it was peaceful, informative, and thoroughly enjoyable. Our guide, Della, was absolutely fantastic! She was so personable and truly a wealth of information. She shared so many interesting facts not only about Belfast, Maine, but also the surrounding areas and the state of Maine. You could tell she genuinely loves the area and enjoys sharing its history and stories with visitors. Our captain, Tap, did a great job as well, making the trip relaxing and enjoyable as we took in the beautiful scenery. And the stop at Young’s Lobster Pound was definitely a highlight—the lobster rolls were AMAZING! 🦞 They were the perfect addition to an already wonderful morning. We highly recommend The Back & Forth to anyone looking for a relaxing way to see the area, learn about Maine, and enjoy some incredible scenery and delicious seafood. Thank you, Della and Tap, for such a memorable experience! ❤️🌊🦞

Such a great team at Schooner Surprise. Nicole communicates effectively and makes sure you are prepared and ready for a fantastic experience. The schooner crew are excellent. The Wednesday evening musical sailings are very special. We sailed with Schooner Surprise numerous weeks in Camden and they truly delivered a great time.

Michael was an outstanding Captain! He was friendly, knowledgeable, and eager to make sure we had a good time. This was particularly appreciated since it was just my wife and I. Despite not having a full boat, he gave us an awesome experience. We will definitely come back again and recommend to our friends.

This was the highlight of our Maine trip! So educational and Michael and Erica were great. The vip food package was outstanding. We even saw a whale blow and Michael got us near it. Fantastic guide.

What a superb sail. The crew was awesome, totally skilled sailors, friendly and knowledgeable. One of our best sails EVER. The Camden area is beautiful and even better from the sea. Highly recommend

We really enjoyed our Maine food tasting. It’s a beautiful venue. It was the perfect length and the presenter, Caroline, was very knowledgeable and excited to share all about Maine’s foods.

The Captain and mate/tour guide were great! Very informative. We had a great time.

The Belfast Bay sunset cruise on the vintage lobster boat was great. The boat only held 6 people and the crew of 2. Jen told us about her family’s lobster business which was very interesting. We stopped by the lobster pound for a look around and a lobster roll which was delish! Jen told us about the biology of the bay which was so interesting. She has a degree in marine biology and is a teacher so her sharing with us was so natural.

Truly interesting! The chocolate tasting was excellent. Enjoyed learning about the process of working with other countries as well as how chocolate is made. Would go back again.

Very intimate, just our family and she focused on us. Extremely accommodating and answered all our questions. Ps the chocolate it amazing!!
