Bratislava Travel Guides (Updated September 2026)

Lovely cruise from Bratislava to Devin Castle... then a couple of hours to walk up to the castle, call into the hotel for coffee etc. Amazing views from the castle walls along the Danube and across the countryside.

Very nice tour and our guide Nadia was great. Highly recommend it, a great way to learn about the local history.

Matusc was an informed, knowledgeable and entertaining guide. He was very enthusiastic and personable. Good size group made the tour enjoyable as well. I recommend BraVa tours.

We had a very enjoyable, very long, day visiting a painted village, two castles and a lake in the Tatras mountains. Our seats on the minibus were fine but people who sat in the front had extremely limited leg room - not suitable for the length of time they had to sit there. The description said we’d get to taste three local wines but only one was offered and no alternatives for people who don’t drink/want alcohol. The description mentioned a guided walk around the lake but that wasn’t offered although we could walk on our own.

The High Tatras were beautiful! The castles were pretty cool too. There is indeed quite a bit of driving required so that you can see all the places in a single day, and this can make it feel a bit rushed. Our driver was very kind and engaged with all guest on the tour. Would recommend this tour! 😁

Great tour for a small little town. Expect a lot of tourists and crowded streets. But otherwise, have a lot of good information about the extensive history of the small little town.

Amazing experience, completely different way to view the city. Guide was extremely knowledgeable and helpful. Great to say we have been kayaking in the Danube River and got to go for a swim after. The photos that were took by the guide and sent on after was an added bonus. Definitely an activity worth doing while in Bratislava

Lucky was our guide for the day. He was very knowledgeable, and also very personable. He made sure we all got pictures at the best locations and engaged with each of us throughout the day. I would highly recommend him.

I did aline, whothout any guide.near my hotel ,in my birthday, days, whit my wishes.!! In 🇷🇴 we have , " Bleu Of Voroneț "..!! Also unique. In europe!!!!..beatifull catolic, ,new style, chruch, whit Maltese cars in front.?+?!!.is a top to see jn bratislava!!!!

Our tour guide, Danny, was enthusiastic and friendly. He kept us all informed throughout the tour and took time to explain the historical and cultural points of interest. I would recommend this tour as it is not only good value for money but also a great opportunity to explore another country within driving distance.

I had an excellent private one-on-one tour of Bratislava with Jakub. He showed me all of the city’s key landmarks and shared fascinating insights about their history and significance. Jakub was incredibly knowledgeable, patient with all of my questions, and took the time to explain everything thoroughly. His friendly and engaging approach made the experience both enjoyable and informative. I highly recommend Jakub to anyone looking for a personalized and memorable tour of Bratislava!

Our guide Nika was very helpful since in our group there were some who had never used a kayak before, we were given a locker for any valuables and drinking water from the building as it was a hot day. Nika also took photos and videos for us and sent them on afterwards since we didn’t have our phones out on the water. The rope tied surfboard to the river bank was also great fun and a good surprise to get a break from paddling and try out something new, all round 10/10 activity for the 40 degree weather right now!

The price was reasonable. The van was very comfortable. The tour guide, Richard, was professional and knowledgeable. He was pickup us when we lost the direction. His instruction was very clear. Our group was very small - only three people. Comfortable and beautiful Wachau. The Melk Abbey was amazing also. Boat tour was excellent. Leisure walking and had a lunch in Salzburg. Although the length of tour was little bit long, I still highly recommended this one-day tour. Unforgettable experience.

This tour was fantastic! Linda was an amazing tour guide and brought us to places that seemed very true to Slovakian culture and were delicious. The food she had us eating was incredible. I absolutely loved this tour and will definitely recommend it to others.

This is a fantastic tour. Linda is wonderful and the food was incredible. I’ve been on multiple food tours in multiple countries over the past decade and I can tell you this was the first time I loved every bite. Usually there are one or two things that are okay. Not on this tour. I loved all of it. Come hungry! Thanks for a great day Linda!
