Top St Louis Food, Wine & Nightlife

This is a wonderful combination of history and delicious foods that represent St Louis. We walked around the west end, heard about its unique history and sampled food in 5 locations. Mike Nichols was an amazing guide. His knowledge of St Louis history made this a very special experience. His personal touches made this one of the best food tours we’ve ever enjoyed. I highly recommend this tour!

Mike is a superb guide, exposing our tour group to deep (and delicious) insights of St. Loius history and dishes that are unique to the city. He showed care for the group touring on a hot, humid day, providing cooling wraps, water stops, and strategic shade stops. Highly recommended!

Wayne (the owner and primary operator of 'Your Guy in STL') is the very definition of a local guide, starting from the point when I reserved (and paid) for the tour on Cool Destinations, to him dropping us off at the origination point. Our group of four had a great time.I communicated with Wayne via the Cool Destinations app before the trip, and he was very responsive. He picked us up at the promised time (10am) as promised in a Rivian R1S with three row of seating: our group was very comfortable throughout. He took us to three wineries, taking about 90 minutes to get to our first stop: Balducci, then Noboleis, then Montelle. Because we had some time, we also stopped off at a brewery (Good News in Defiance), which allowed me to catch a bit of football on TV. We were back home by 4:30 pm: over a six hour day for us, quite a bit longer for Wayne since he doesn't live close to the pickup point.Within 30 minutes, I knew he was a great guide. As a lifelong St Louis area resident, he knew a lot about all kinds of topics related to the area. He was also a great story teller, weaving his stories with the experiences of our St Louis friends. And he spoke clearly and loudly enough for all of us in the auto to join in on the conversation, even for the folks in the 3rd row. Once we got to each winery, he disappeared after introductions, giving us time to catch up with our friends. But by the time of the brewery, he joined us to talk about our day. It was a nice way to get to know him even more.Each winery offered either a tasting or a flight, with the middle winery being where we had a really tasty lunch, and the 3rd one having the absolute best views of the valley. All food, drink, and souvenir costs were borne by us, which greatly simplified everything...all transactions were between the businesses and us.I originally booked this tour to get a designated driver, so all four of us could partake as much as we wanted on the tour. We actually didn't end up needing it since we didn't drink as much as I thought we would...but the tour was still well worth it, because of Wayne. Highly recommended.

Wow, what a great tour! We had plenty of excellent BBQ. Our guide, Wayne, knew the best places and had connections with the people at all the stops. The beer stops were planned to meet our tastes. This is the way to get an insiders view of St Louis BBQ and beer!

We had a terrific tour of downtown St Louis with Wayne- we were only in town for half a day so we really wanted a guided tour and Wayne delivered! We got to see all the highlights plus eat some great food. We made the mistake of eating a late lunch just before the tour so didn't have room for barbeque but had some great Italian snacks and gelato in St Louis' "Little Italy" which is not little! Wayne is very personable and knows the city! Very comfy ride too. I highly recommend this tour, especially if you are short on time.

Great way for first time visitors to explore St Louis. Certainly gives one an excellent perspective for future visits.

We had a great time on our Sights and Bites tour. Wayne was great, he knows the city so well and lots of people in it. The tour was a good mix of sights and bites. Really enjoyed getting know St Louis.

The Cycle Saloon is always a great time! If you request Darral as your driver--you won't be disappointed. We've made this an annual tradition, but may start doing it twice a year.

This was a great experience! They kept you involved, and encouraged you to keep guessing. Food was great too!
