A measure of a worthwhile business is how they handle an issue when things don't go perfectly. Boats have issues sometimes, its inevitable, we got a call from Della more than an hour before our scheduled departure letting us know they'd be late. No problem, we took a detour to kill time and got there with time to spare. We waited at the dock and watch as the rest of the bookings canceled, even after less than 30 minutes. We thought they'd cancel our tour since we were the only ones but it was quite the opposite, we got a personal tour of the bay and surrounding coastline, just my wife and I. They offered us some wine, and just spent the entire time sharing adventure stories and learning about Lobster. It just goes to show you that having a little bit of flexibility, patience and faith can work out great.

We really enjoyed our Maine food tasting. It’s a beautiful venue. It was the perfect length and the presenter, Caroline, was very knowledgeable and excited to share all about Maine’s foods.

We had a wonderful time and it was a great value for our money. Mike did a great tour and explanation of lobster fishing/catching. We learned so much and during lunch we were identifying males and females. Now, lunch was wonderful and more than any of us could eat. Anyone who’s interested in an authentic lobster fishing experience should sign up.

Kris was a great tour guide. Had some interested historical information about Portland and of course had some yummy donuts along the way!

We ended up having a private tour, Just my husband and I and Chris was a wealth of information about Portland and donuts. We had lots of fun and would highly recommend the tour.

We visited last July while traveling with our family, and it ended up being one of the highlights of our trip! The outdoor dining area is absolutely amazing beautiful, relaxing, and surrounded by nature. It was such a fun atmosphere for the whole family, especially enjoying fresh seafood together outside.The food was delicious and everything felt fresh and well prepared. We especially loved the lobster and all the seafood on the table. The staff were friendly, welcoming, and made the experience even more enjoyable. Thank you Jessica if I remember correctly. We never felt rushed and were able to sit back, enjoy our meal, and spend quality time together.It was more than just dinner it felt like a true Maine experience and something we’ll remember from our vacation. We would definitely come back the next time we’re in the area. Highly recommend visiting, especially if you can enjoy the outdoor experience!

Truly interesting! The chocolate tasting was excellent. Enjoyed learning about the process of working with other countries as well as how chocolate is made. Would go back again.

Very intimate, just our family and she focused on us. Extremely accommodating and answered all our questions. Ps the chocolate it amazing!!

Strongly recommend this to others!! The education part was thorough & informative and our instructor was wonderful! She wove facts and stories into an engaging and fun experience! The food was also very good - we purchased some of the items in the store and purchased others at a local co-op. Great value for the price - will come back for more experiences/ classes when we next return to the area.

Good time learning about Portland and donuts. Great tour and walk first thing in the morning. Not too short and not too long of a tour.

So much fun! A great way to try a few local donuts and learn a bit more about Portland. We were looking for something a little different than just a walking tour, and this hit the mark.

We had a great time! Michael was very friendly and willing to answer any questions. He was also very knowledgeable and shared a lot of information about lobster fishing and the history of it too. The whole experience was very interesting and fun!

Had a lovely time learning about the history of Bixby Chocolate. Gordon Bixby was amazing and the chocolate was delicious!

It was fun learning about the process of turning cacao to delicious chocolate and tasting the differences in taste for different growing regions.

We really enjoyed our Taste of Maine tour. Caroline was very enthusiastic and knowledgeable. The snacks were delicious and we learned a lot about the great state of Maine!!
