This excursion was very fun and beautiful. Romina, our snorkeling guide, was very attentive and demonstrated great knowledge. Regina cooked wonderfully; her ceviches were delicious and very fresh. Our captain, Noé, took us safely throughout the day and brought us back safe and sound. I highly recommend Baja Off Shore.

Myself and my partner booked the Whale shark and sea lion snorkelling tour with lunch. Communication from mexplore before the day was first class. The meeting point is easy to find, the pre tour briefing and the tour itself was fabulous. The skipper and the snorkelling guide, Kathy, were brilliant. We saw numerous whale sharks and were able to snorkel safely with several. As a bonus we saw breaching humpbacks on the way back to the dock. I would definitely recommend.

We swam with a juvenile whale shark which was just wonderful and then went to an outcrop of rocks to see and swim with the sea lions. We ended our great day by having lunch on Balandra beach which was so beautiful and lunch of burritos and ceviche was really good. Thank you to the captain and (forgot his name) guide .

We can’t say enough wonderful things about our experience with Salty Life in Baja! Our group included two adults and a ten-year-old, and every one of us had an absolute blast. From the moment we set out to San Rafaelito, everything was absolutely incredible. Swimming with the sea lions amid beautiful coral reefs and vibrant marine life was a once-in-a-lifetime thrill—it truly felt like a nature documentary come to life. Our stop at Balandra Beach is easily one of the most breathtaking we've been to it was pure paradise. We spent the afternoon soaking in the sun, snorkeling, and splashing in the crystal-clear water. To top it all off, Captain Ramone prepared a delicious, fresh meal that was the perfect mid-day treat. Christian, our tour guide, was outstanding—he made everything both educational and fun. We were incredibly lucky to spot a pod of dolphins, a manta ray flipping in the air and Christian even captured some amazing moments on his GoPro, especially of us swimming with the sea lions. Those photos and videos are memories we’ll treasure forever. If you’re looking for a tour that perfectly blends adventure, relaxation, and remarkable wildlife encounters. We absolutely recommend using Salty Life in Baja to guide your experience. We can’t wait to go back and do the whale shark tour for our next adventure!

I booked a private boat tour for Espiritu Santo Island/snorkeling with the sea lions for my family. I can't recommend this tour enough. We arrived from a cruise ship for the day. We were worried about private transportation from the cruise ship to the tour location in town (this was our first time in La Paz) but Cristian coordinated that for us. What a relief it was! The boat we boarded for the tour was clean and comfortable. The boat captain and tour guide were professional, patient, and knowledgeable regarding the area. They showed us an area where we saw turtles swimming, we snorkeled with sea lions, fish, sunbathed on a very unpopulated beach, and were treated to an amazing lunch which included ceviche, grapes, ham/cheese sandwiches, chip, soda and water. My family and I have cruised 15 times in the past and have experienced many shore excursions, but hands down, this was the best shore excursion ever! Book an excursion with Salty Life In Baja...you won't be disappointed!

Wow what a night ... If you are looking for an amazing experience you must so this tasting, the food was amazing and the mezcal was all too shelf each with a interesting story as well as the history and process of making mezcal ..5 star

Excellent communication. Punctual departure. We took the private trip just for the two of us. The destinations were beautiful. We had good weather. The service was warm. The food was spectacular. Overall an excellent experience. I would recommend it without much thought. If you don't visit Balandra and Espíritu Santo, you didn't come to La Paz.

The experience was incredible. The crew was super friendly and attentive at all times; they made us enjoy the tour a lot. The food was delicious and everything was very well organized. Without a doubt, it was one of the best experiences of our trip to La Paz. Highly recommended! 🤍✨

Took my 11 year old on this trip and we loved it! They did an amazing job spotting whale sharks and dropping us to get the best views. The sea lions and snorkeling were great, and lunch was delicious. Highly recommend this operator!

I highly recommend doing this once in a lifetime experience! I was interested in swimming with the whale sharks and Mexplore Tours was recommended to me by another tour company who I’d used previously but didn’t offer whale shark tours. I booked the 6 hour whale shark, sea lions, & Balandra Beach tour. The meeting point was easy to find, and the staff was very welcoming. It was a group of ten, plus the marine biologist guide and the driver of the boat. They were very organized and professional, letting us know exactly what to expect. Snorkeling gear, wetsuits or life jackets, photos/videos, and snacks and lunch was included. It was amazing to get so close to such gentle creatures. And I felt very safe while in the water with the guide, Karla, especially when she took turns holding our hands to remain close to the whale shark as it swam.

Wow where do I start?? I have been in the wine and liquor business for over 40yrs but never had an appreciation for Mezcal until Rob opened my eyes. I’m sold! Not to give up my single cask Scotch but this stuff when you you find the right ones are amazing. Get this Rob has his own brand named after his business in La Paz. Very knowledgeable and a wonderful teacher. Well worth the admission price of about $100.00! I bought a bottle to show my friends once I get home to Healdsburg CA. Careful as Rob is VERY generous with his prize possessions. I didn’t even mention what his chef laid out to complement the Mezcal’s. Again Wow! Do this tasting! We had the most wonderful sit-down mezcal tasting experience with Robb. He knows a LOT about mezcal and treated us like family. It's a private tasting, they're with you the whole time, and the mezcal itself is pretty mind-blowing, not the stuff you get at a liquor store. The accompanying tasting menu was the best food we've had in La Paz so far.

Wow, what a truly great experience we had with my family. Without hesitation, we chose the best team for our tour day to Isla Espíritu Santo. They are marine biologists and explain everything in depth. It was very pleasant, personalized, and practical. The food prepared right there was 100% exquisite. Everyone was very kind from the moment we requested a quote, and they fulfilled everything they promised. I am extremely happy with the choice of Baja Off Shore as our hosts for this tour!!!
