A Must Try with Bee in Capp!
Bee was an amazing host. My best friend and I booked this last minute and we are so glad we did! You have to give this a shot! This was an intimate (fun) history of Turkish coffee and how to make it. We were able to make our own Turkish coffee in the sand and then Bee made us a favorite version of hers which I ended up buying in the store to take home with me along with coffee making items. My favorite part, other than Bee’s wonderful hospitality, was her fortune telling. I believe in fortune and signs. I believe in chance, luck, and good will. I believe in spirituality. I’ve had my fortune told many times and Bee was very spot on with my personality but also at how I tend to go through life. My friend and I were quite shocked at how accurate the things were she was telling us. One thing I loved was Bee being very down to earth but not afraid to tell you the chaotic side of your fortune. A storm started brewing when we arrived and it made for that much more of a cozy vibe. Give this a try!

We actually did this 2 years ago with my then 4 year old. It’s a core memory event. You CANNOT go without doing this! They were very accommodating with a small child. Facilities and car were very clean. The food was VERY good.

Erem and Ece were wonderful! My kids and I felt very welcomed and were fully engaged. It was enjoyable to hear the history of turkish coffee, hear stories, chat, and do the hands on process step by step. We checked out the venue on the hotel rooftop earlier in the day while walking around Goreme and discovered the setup also has lamp and perfume making—we scheduled these so that each could do his/her own activity at the same time. It was a great way for all of us to be together and yet do our own thing.

Magnificent! I highly recommend taking this pottery class. It exceeded my expectations. The family has been doing pottery for three generations and they are very knowledgeable about the history. This is a wonderful activity to do with family and you get to bring your artwork back with you!

You Do Not Have to Be a Wine Person to Love This Tour
I’ll admit I am not a wine connoisseur by any means but this tour completely won me over! I left feeling like I actually learned something meaningful rather than just sipping and nodding along pretending to know what I was tasting. The guide breaks everything down in a way that is genuinely accessible and interesting, covering the history, the native grape varieties, and fermentation process all of it without making you feel out of your depth.The local cheeses and snacks paired with each tasting were tasty and a nice touch too and helped keep things grounded between pours. (Which there are many! I think I ended up tasting 25 different wines).What I did not expect was how much I would enjoy learning about the regional grapes and that made each tasting feel more meaningful and specific to the region rather than a generic wine experience.Oh, and the host has the cutest little kitten wandering around the space. Honestly that alone was worth showing up for. Whether you are a serious wine lover or just curious, this is a wonderful way to slow down and connect with Cappadocia’s culture in a really unique way.

At the family-run restaurant, I was taught traditional Turkish food. I really liked the atmosphere of coming to a friend's house at home. For cooking, I would just chop the vegetables and show them the other processes. After the meal, we had a fancy lunch with lots of appetizers to fill up!

The food was amazing the experience was even better! Our guide Kadir was very informative and knowledgable on so many topics so conversation was very easy!Lots of fun making traditional Turkish food, dancing in the kitchen and drinking wine. Overall a terrific opportunity to get closer to the real culture of Cappadocia!

I cannot recommend this experience enough! Such an incredible example of Turkish hospitality- warm and so very generous. We were two families traveling with young children, and we all thoroughly enjoyed the food and conversation. The local woman was very sweet and a great teacher. Our guide had great English and told us very interesting things about Turkish culture. I could tell he tried to make the experience extra special for us. The transport van was nice and very safe. Definitely come hungry because there will be more food than is possible to eat! The savory pancakes were delicious! I know this will be a memory my family will have forever. Definitely a highlight on our trip to Turkey.

The actual cooking class...
The actual cooking class and experience at the home was lovely. We got to try our hand at putting the bread in the tandoor oven, which is novel for us Americans. She got the kids involved and so they were very willing to try the food b/c they had a hand in the preparation. The food tasted great and very much appreciated the stories/explanations. Only issue was the driver to the class got very lost - but other than that hiccup, truly a unique experience and highly recommend if you have the time.

Elham was absolutely amazing! So accomodation and very proud of the experience they offer. You can easily see that everyone is proud to be part of it. We arrived 2 hours late and they STILL gladly helped us... Making this a truly worthwhile excursion.
