If you're looking for a tour that gets under the skin of the champagne houses and local ones run by families in the area. This tour is for you!

An excellent experience, Philipe was extremely knowledgeable about everything champagne as a previous champagne maker and his early experience learning the business in the vineyards . His commentary along the way was most informative and our understanding and education of the industry, production, challenges and successes is now way better than we had before. The lunch was great in Ay Champagne and we had the opportunity to say hallo to Isabelle the owner of the company. Although the funky eclectic beach car was unique I think we would have preferred a small luxury vehicle to match the price of the tour in the future and a pickup direct from our hotel in Epernay . We were dropped back directly at the hotel . Thankyou for a great experience

Excellent tour starting at Vouve Cliquot. Zoe, our guide, was outstanding. The champagnes we tasted were all quite good and the lunch with pairing was also outstanding.

This tour was worth every minute, and beyond expectations. Philippe is a walking bank of knowledge. As a former champagne producer knows all about the champagne production process, facts, and history from the region as well. Visiting vineyard, a local producer and listening to all the stories is priceless. The cathedral in Reims is beautiful as well. You will not regret this, it opens your eyes and knowledge and future joy of champagne.

Absolutely brilliant day - can’t speak highly enough of it. Philippe is an expert in his field and he spent the day showing and telling us everything he knew about champagne making. We started at the vines and moved right through the entire process, on the ground and in the cellars of smaller, artisanal houses in the countryside around Epernay. Sure, do a few of the big houses, but if you want passion and craft this tour is for you.

This champagne tour in Reims was one of the highlights of our entire trip to France. From start to finish, the experience was seamless, elegant, and genuinely enjoyable.Our guide, Angélique, was absolutely wonderful. She was incredibly knowledgeable, warm, and engaging, and she shared the history and craftsmanship behind champagne in a way that was both fascinating and easy to understand. Her passion for the region and for champagne truly elevated the entire experience—she made the tour feel personal, relaxed, and special.The cellar visit and the tastings were excellent and thoughtfully presented. Nothing felt rushed or overly touristy; instead, it felt authentic, intimate, and very well curated.If you’re visiting Reims, this tour is a must-do. And if you’re lucky enough to have Angélique as your guide, you’re guaranteed an exceptional experience. Highly recommend!

Our day with Philippe was amazing. His knowledge of Champagne, and the Champagne making process was astounding. We learned so much and more importantly, really enjoyed his company throughout the day. The aroma workshop was lots of fun as were the amazing food pairings. Tracy and I had a truly memorable experience, and I would recommend this tour to absolutely anyone interested in Champagne, food, or the history of the region. Thank you so much for making our anniversary trip such a memorable experience.

This was by far the best tour we took. Marine was an amazing tour guide and she answered all of our questions and even managed to find answers to some of our more odd ball questions. We did an English tour and she helped explain some French to us as we were confused by some of the grammar. The champagne and food were amazing. We really enjoyed trying the smaller houses. It seems like the smaller houses have more of a variety of smells and flavors than the larger houses. We were stuffed at the end of the tour and could hardly finish the final tasting. We really enjoyed the exercise at the beginning that has you identifying scents. It really helped me express what I did and didn’t like in champagnes. This helped me in the tastings we did on our own to pick champagnes I’d really enjoy trying.

Ghislain was the most amazing tour guide I’ve ever had. He had local insight everywhere that we went, pointing out important landmarks and features and made extra stops along the way for view points and to learn about champagne production and history. He was very knowledgeable about everything champagne and wine related, helping us select drinks based on our tastes. His outgoing personality made the tour fun and comfortable, and he left us alone enough times to enjoy some private experiences. Everything that we ate and drank was fantastic. This tour is very reasonably priced for the fantastic service, drinks, food, and company that you receive and I would book it again in a heartbeat.10/10 experienceThank you Ghislain!

Great fun traveling along Avenue de Champagne in an open-air double decker bus, followed by a visit to see the vineyards of Hautvillers. Hosts were very welcoming and made sure we had a great time and sampled some delicious champagne.

My husband and I were traveling to Paris with our (well-behaved and well-traveled) 2 year old son over the summer and really wanted to explore the Champagne region but worried about how our jet-lagged 2 year old would be at the Champagne Houses so when we found this open-air bus we knew this would be perfect and enjoyable for all of us! Marie Antoinette and her husband were so lovely, friendly, accommodating from the booking the months prior to our travel to when we got off the bus. They were honestly just a joy! The tour was in French and only my husband speaks some French so we set those expectations ahead of time and knew that we would understand a little, but we'd get the tour of the sites, the sabering of the Champagne bottle, a joyful ride in a bus where you could drink champagne and our 2-year old would have a wonderful time looking around at all the sites. Marie Antoinette sent me the tour ahead of time in English so that I could read up on everything and know what it all was ahead of time, I thought that was wonderful. They also gave my son a cup to drink out of and provided some snacks/pairings with the champagne. To our luck one of the other guests spoke English so he did translate some to us which was nice. All-in-all I think it was exactly what we were looking for in our unique situation! We stayed the night at Hotel Villa Eugene which was just an easy lovely walk back to our hotel following the tour. I think there is an opportunity in the future if interest is there to offer tours in English too and you'd have great successful with non-fluent French speaking people. Happy to help provide ideas/suggestions for that if you ever do so in the future! I will be talking about this experience probably for the rest of my life and hope we find ourselves back in Epernay sometime in the future, we will surely be back and tell all of our friends about L'Imperiale de Marie Antoinette! Superb day with Isabelle who shared her passion for the Region and champagne. She made us discover the champagne environment with tasting, visit of cellars, sabering of bottle, romantic lunch in the middle of the vineyards .... very nice memory!!!
