Top Durango Fun and Games

Durango was a pretty town to explore. The cute art, scenery , tourist stops and cafes were more memorable given the clues. The competition was fun.

Everyone who loves a scavenger hunt will have a GREAT experience! Tara, our host, guided and encouraged us every step of the way. The clues were interesting, fun, and we learned a lot about Durango! I highly recommend this experience!!!!!!!

On a recent whistle-stop tour to Durango, we came across this part art/culture tour and scavenger hunt online. Intrigued by it, we signed up immediately. Based on the questions given to us by the friendly virtual assistant, we were solving clues, doing whacky things and getting to explore the town along the way. What a blast it turned out to be! We travel often and are super thrilled to have discovered this concept by Alley Kat Adventures and are eager to explore their adventures in other cities soon.

The scavenger hunt was a great way to learn about Durango. My husband and I went with our best friends and we did our best to complete the clues. We met local people and also learned history about Durango's past. Tara was an incredible host as she guided us along the way, offered suggestions, added to the things we learned and was always supportive. Highly recommend!

What a creative, interesting, FUN way to learn about all kinds of things plus meet some good hearted people. This was all done in 2 hours running around Durango. Tara, our virtual host was so sweet and helpful! My friends and I had never done this before and were a little nervous and insecure in the beginning. Tara engaged with us right away, giving us hints, some really cool challenges and positive support. She got us out of our comfort zone and turned us into determined aspiring sleuths. My partner and I are always looking for fun things to do and new places to explore. From Hawaii to Alaska there are several Creative Soul Scavenger Hunts. We’re definitely putting them on our “To Do” list.

Tara’s hunt was both a good way to learn about Durango and a lot of silly family fun. Despite fairly frigid temperatures, we laughed our way around downtown Durango. The vibe is cool and creative, not hyper competitive. We are all adults but the other family that did the hunt at the same time had kids of various ages and all seemed to have fun.

So much fun and educational can go together as we experienced with this scavenger hunt. The Cat's Meow Downtown Durango Scavenger hunt is well organized and our host was helpful and encouraging. We enjoyed learning some really cool Durango history and meeting friendly and interesting people. This was a great introduction to Durango during our first few hours visiting! It not only helped us explore hidden gems, but also connected us with locals who we made quick friends with! Was a total blast as a honeymoon activity, and Tara was a lovely virtual host! Does require a bit of social outgoing-ness to get the most out of the experience.

We had a such a fun experience with this Scavenger hunt in Durango Colorado. Our guide was Tara and she did a phenomenal job with providing us the clues and feedback along our hunt. This scavenger hunt was actually the first thing we did when we came into Durango and it was a great idea. We thought this would help us explore downtown and it did just that. We met nice locals, saw cool spots we planned to visit and took so many fun photos. It was definitely a great experience and I would definitely recommend.
