Top Durango Dining Experiences

If I could give this 10 stars, I would. This was the best zip line experience that we have been on. The guides were absolutely amazing. They had such wonderful attitudes and remembered us all by name. The food was delicious and everyone was so thoughtful and great to spend time with. It’s definitely worth the money! I couldn’t recommend it more highly.

Soaring Colorado is the absolute BEST experience! It is fun, safe, and totally amazing! I would recommend this adventure to everyone - no matter how young or how old. The sky rangers are personable, competent and take care of you like you are the most important person they have ever met! I am truly sad that this is their last season because I was looking forward to bringing my grandchildren one day.

This was the best excursion ever I’d waited 20 years to do this and so thankful I got to do it with my best friend Christian. Also, were very sad to hear that they may be closing Tree Top Soaring adventures. I sure hope not and I hope somebody worthy of this beautiful place cantake it over the instructors were amazing. We loved each, and every one of them made friends everywhere we went.

Our favorite thing to do in Durango. It’s an amazing adventure in the mountains and the guides and food are so good! Can’t recommend enough.

What an amazing day from start to finish. Highly recommended. I want to go back again before the end of the season!The “flight rangers” Victoria and Olivia and their boss, Phil, took great care of us and made us feel very safe. The property is beautiful and the food was great. As locals, we don’t ride the train very often anymore, but the quick trip from the rockwood station on the plush private car to the resort was perfect.Thanks for a great day!

Most amazing zipline experience ever. Staff are superb! Have done it 3 times.

Wow - what an awesome and fun day! Our guides met us as we departed the train and we felt like royalty for a day. The actual zip line experience was fantastic and the guides made it so much fun. I'm scared of heights and never once felt unsafe (even being hoisted up 100 ft!!!) The lunch was delicious and not your standard lunch bag meal - we had the mango chicken curry which we all loved. Victoria, Olivia, Chad? and the incredible Phil made our day!!!!

To me it is the greatest feeling of freedom! The lunch by the river was excellent, not your typical "boxed" lunch. What can I say about the staff...made you feel safe, wanted to know who you were as a person and as a couple. Lots of jokes, stories, and tons of laughter. Even better this time than what I remember 20 years ago.

It was an amazing experience! I am truly terrified of heights, but the staff was great at making me feel comfortable and safe. I loved every moment and would do it again in a heartbeat. From beginning to end I felt safe and well taken care of. It was a perfect day! Loved every moment and would highly recommend it to everyone. Train ride, zip lines with some spectacular views, and wonderful service - the staff is trained very well and is excellent at making the travelers feel safe

Everything about our day with Soaring Tree Top Adventures was Fantastic! We took two of our 11 year old Grandsons to celebrate their 5th grade Continuation. The excitement and challenge of the zipline was perfect for Both Generations! Our grandsons wanted to go again the next day! Everyone on the staff were so friendly, helpful and sincere about making sure everyone had a great time. Meeting up with the train at Rockwood was smooth, instruction prior to starting the zipline course was very good and the gourmet lunch was 5 star! We were moving all day at a perfect pace. I would highly recommend Soaring Tree Top Adventures and hope to go again some day soon!

At first glance I was skeptical because it seems pricey but man it was so worth it! The guides were definitely the ones that made this trip the best! The food was great! It is a MUST do!

The reason why i booked this place is because it combined the beautiful train ride up the the property plus the 27 (if i remember right) zip line runs. But the biggest reason is the safety and proper maintenance of equipment. I am very picky about where i trust going to do zip lines for obvious reasons. The views amazing. The 5 zips across the river just breathtaking. Their homemade lunch with lots of choice selections and made fresh that day for you. Their is so much more then i can say here but it is way worth doing. I hope they don't mind the comparison but i put this at the top for me along with my doing the the zip line at "Koloa Ziplines" in Kauai Hawaii

Soaring Tree Top Adventures was the highlight of our family Arizona/Colorado vacation this summer. The people were amazing (yes, ALL of them), the food was amazing (best meal we had on our 10 day trip) and the zip lines were out of this world! If you have not done this, you are missing out! An absolute must do!!!

Phil and his crew ( Devin,Olivia,Ona, Patrick, Michael,Kiera,Victoria and Nate) did a Phenomenal job! They were engaging ensuring you had a Safe,Fun and Fantastic time from start to finish! This was our second time here and it was just as Magical as the first time . The views were incredible as well as our gourmet lunch!! You cannot find another place like this. Perfection at its Best!! My brother and I experienced Soaring Tree Top Adventures yestrrday and both of us agreed it was one of the most memorable outdoor adventures we've ever had.From the moment we arrived until the end of the day, every aspect of the experience was first-class. The setting is breathtaking, the zipline course is spectacular, and the entire operation is run with remarkable professionalism and attention to detail.What truly sets Soaring Tree Top Adventures apart, however, is its people. Every one of the Sky Rangers and support staff deserves special recognition. They were exceptional—professional, personable, friendly, courteous, conscientious, and clearly passionate about what they do.Like many first-time zipliners, I was admittedly a bit apprehensive at the beginning. Several others in our group appeared to feel the same way. The Sky Rangers had a remarkable ability to put everyone at ease through a combination of clear instruction, reassuring confidence, genuine conversation, and well-timed humor.Their focus on safety was evident at every stage, yet they made the experience fun, relaxed, and enjoyable.The adventure itself was incredible: 26 zipline runs, including 12 crossings over the beautiful Animas River. Each run seemed more exciting and scenic than the last. The views were stunning, and the entire course was thoughtfully designed and impeccably maintained.Midway through the day, we were treated to a wonderful lunch and dessert that exceeded all expectations. It was the perfect opportunity to relax, enjoy the surroundings, and reflect on the morning's adventures before heading back out.I have participated in many organized tours and outdoor activities over the years, but few have matched the quality, professionalism, and hospitality we experienced here.
