I took part in "Design and Create a Raffia Bag in Puerto Plata," and I am so glad I did. The whole experience was incredibly fun, creative, and educational. From the moment I arrived, I felt welcomed and guided through every step of the process. The instructor was both professional and patient, and really helped me bring my creative visions to life.It was amazing to work with natural materials and learn traditional techniques, all while getting the chance to add my personal touch to the bag. I left not only with a beautiful and unique bag, but also with memories of an inspiring and authentic cultural experience.I highly recommend this workshop to anyone visiting Puerto Plata—whether you're artistically inclined or not, you're going to love it!

We had an amazing time creating our bags. The people who led the workshop were so kind and explained the whole process with all the patience in the world. We left the shop wearing our own creations, and they even recommended us a lot of good restaurants around! I would truly recommend this to my friends and family!!

Recommended by our tour operator during the welcome meeting, we planned this outing for our small souvenir gifts. Appointment time was respected and the transportation was perfect. A small soothing haven in the shop with a relaxation area and bar. The attention and advice in French are worth noting. We pay in euros without any issues. We were delighted with this outing because the Riu hotel is isolated, and we would not have been able to plan this visit on our own.

What a beautiful little discovery 🥰 And what a welcome and organization, never seen before! After contacting the shop for information, I was offered a free pick up at the hotel and return as well. Arrived on site we were warmly welcomed and offered tastings. There is a large selection of products at more than reasonable prices, I paid less for magnets for example at the shop than at the seller at the market 😳 The shop is definitely worth a visit

I have already participated in other workshops they host and every experience is just lovely and unforgettable. In this occasion I chose to make my own custom bag with my name on it. The hosts were extremely helpful during the whole process and I can’t be happier with the final result and the amazing experience I had. I’m really looking forward to seeing you again soon!!!!

We stayed at the Lopesan resort. The forecast showed rain so we reached out to Chez Nicole to see if we could get a ride to shop! They arranged transportation at 9:30. We shopped, tasted coffee, got drinks at the bar & loved it all. The staff is so friendly and helpful and the goods are top notch…. C’est nickel! Highly recommend for your vacation!

We were picked up at our hotel on time , did a couple of other pick ups on the way , bus was clean and driver friendly . Been here before , a great place to pick up local gifts / souvenirs . No pressure to buy . Greeted by the owner on arrival who explained a couple of things to us . Those that don’t like to shop can enjoy golf course views and a drink . Really nice place and would recommend .

WOW. It is difficult to find the right words to describe the experience of our visit to Chez Nicole.First, the place: The shop has nothing to do with the others. An open, airy and beautifully decorated place. This shop is located right next to a golf course, which makes it feel really isolated and in nature. Part outside, part inside, as well as small places to sit and relax by reviewing our purchases.Then the welcome: Never in my life have I been so well received. First of all, all the staff speak French, which is good for our Quebec heart. Then we feel as soon as we arrive that our well-being during the visit is important. We are explained the various places of the shop and offered a basket to place the objects. We can touch, try, all without any pressure. The staff is present but not at all invasive. When necessary, it is easy to have personalized advice as the staff is really attentive to our needs.With Patrick we tasted several rums and other alcohol available in store. We felt that Patrick had fun showing us the products of the Dominican Republic. Because yes! It is important to mention that ALL that is sold in the shop is a product of the Dominican Republic. The owner, Mylène, is constantly looking for new local craftsmen and producers to show us.Finally, the bar: It's quite simple: Best Pina Colada of our lives. My spouse and I even asked for the recipe that is made with simple ingredients and not ready mixes as in other places. It was just DE-LI-HEAVEN.A visit to Chez Nicole is for me a MUST-SEE of Punta Cana. Plan a morning or a full afternoon to enjoy the beautiful scenery and sip a good pina colada.

A very nice shop with many souvenir items to discover! Classics: magnet mugs, food, jewelry, cosmetics, alcohol, cigars and decorative elements! The choice is wide and all prices are displayed:) Great transfer service that picks you up and rests you!

This was a free trip from our Hotel. I can certainly recommend a visit to Chez Nicole. Lovely little shop selling local products, and souvenirs. The host Helen was very friendly and welcoming. If you get the chance definately visit. Kelvin and Joanne North Yorkshire, England.

No regrets about coming to Nicole Boutique, go there really with your eyes closed you will not regret, the store is really pretty we find everything at really interesting Awards much more than in the shops of the hotels or around. The setting is super friendly and the welcome is very friendly, Nicole and her saleswomen are adorable.

The shop is pretty, there are original jewelry, but above all, the welcome is exceptional. We are advised in French, English or Spanish. Transportation from Inn to Shop is free and efficient. Thank you.

Everything was perfect!! Beautiful shop!! Staff at the top!! Very good products!!! That day I would make my birthday and the team offered us a drink and I was entitled to the song and after choosing our gifts for friends and family my spouse gave me a ring with the l arimar!! And proposed to me!! So that very good memories

This place is amazing! The store layout is easy to navigate. The shop itself is in a beautiful setting. We had a van pick us up from our resort which made it so convenient. The shop has beautiful merchandise, and their selection of Larimar jewelry is the best I’ve ever seen. Karyne was wonderful to work with. When we were finished shopping we sat in a gazebo lounge sipping rum drinks until the van arrived to take us back to our hotel. It was one of the best shopping experiences I have had!
