What To Expect

Explore the history of the traditional Raffia bags, craft your own and take it home as the most amazing souvenir. Perfect for any age.
We will meet at our workshop filled with materials, tools and finished products. Where you will become an insider on the whole process of crafting a fashion bag and find out the secrets of this tradition.
Together with master artisans you will craft your own Raffia bag. Handpicking out of thousands of different combinations, you will chose the size of the bag, colors, words and the handles. You can even stitch your name on it!
At the end, when trying on your creation, you will feel like a true artisan. And will get a wearable memory of Puerto Plata (hardly available to visitors) and a really cool story to tell.
