Texas 2026 Calendar of Events

After having limited time in Dallas my son and I chose to do this tour as it sounded good and was a little over 60 minutes long... I looked at the reviews and the insider tips and we boarded the car and sat on the right hand side ( as was one of the tips ) and Sat on the rear seat ( away from the Aircon unit....( As was a other tip )...The Natation was actually really good consise information timed exactly with the drivers help...it was fascinating to travel the route JFK did on that faithful day in 1963 ( as he was driven ) you were also taken multiple other areas of interest that tied the whole story together...my personal view it was excellent value for money and filled in all the gaps I didn't know and even more gaps for my son...we both really enjoyed it and it was to the point and didn't drag on for no reason..I really think if you do nothing else on Dallas you shouldn't miss this.. History right in your lap..

The adults only sunset tour was just what we hoped it would be! Lively passengers, a great captain (Captain Z!), dolphins jumping and a beautiful sunset. We learned about the harbor and some of its history and would highly recommend for a relaxing way to spend an evening!!

I pre-booked weeks in advance.Once I arrived I simply gave my name at the ticket booth and the young lady checked me in. The boat released its earlier passengers and shortly after boarded our group. There were about 25 of us, but we had room. I didn't keep track of time but it seemed to be ample time for the trip. I was pleased that I saw not only a large quantity of dolphins, but also watched 3 cruise ships depart, got a view of Seawolf Park, the Coast Guard boats in dock and the USS Texas in drydock .I thoroughly enjoyed the excursion. Captain Z was charming and witty

You need to pay $5 cash each to the people at the entrance to the boarding deck of your boat. The staff on today was very rude we only had a little cash or card was told this was not acceptable even though we had paid for the trip online. Nothing to do with the organisers or the trip. They were great.

The guide knew Austin! 4th generation. Good knowledge of Austin and Texas history. She was upbeat, positive and friendly. Only negative was having to “duck” under all the trees we passed.

Great views from the second level, but be careful for tree branches! It was nearly 100 degrees the day of our tour and the sun was hot and scorching. There's not much shade on the route, so I kept on my hat and long sleeve shirt. The tour lasted 75 minutes which was perfect. It was not a hop on/hop off bus. I wish I could remember our guide's name - he is from England and studying in Austin, and was very nice and interesting. The tour provided a good overview of the city of Austin. It started and ended at the Austin Visitor's center which has great gifts, a coffee shop, and super helpful staff. We got there an hour before the tour, so walked just around the corner for some delicious breakfast tacos. Our tour began at 11am on a Sunday, and we were surprised by the amount of traffic. The bus therefore moved very slowly, but the guide kept everyone engaged. Being up high on the second level of the bus really provided a much better view of things than if we had been on a regular bus tour.

We loved that we could bring our own refreshments.. we could stand up and the captain was very knowledgeable of the area. We saw a lot of dolphins.

Great experience riding the boat at night with other passengers seeking the same adventure as you! CAPTAIN Z WAS AMAZING ALONGSIDE HIS INSTRUCTOR!
