My day at Reimer’s Ranch with Rock-About exceeded my expectations. My guide, Isaac, brought all the gear and expertise needed to successfully climb 8 routes in one day. Having lived on the east coast most of my life, I’m just now being exposed to the beauty of hill country and limestone. I loved how climbing brought me so close to places in the rock I would have never seen or felt on the ground. Being newer to outdoor climbing, I was grateful for Isaac’s knowledge of which routes I’d be capable of climbing and still be challenged by. Highly recommend!

So much fun! I love being up high and seeing everything over the River walk! The zip line is super fun too! Staff was great! We’ll be back for sure!

This place was really fun ! They have a high ropes course and rock climbing, (I recommend getting the premier package) , Staff was super nice and friendly , will definitely be back next time I’m in San Antonio .

We met Adam at Reimers for a guided visit and to hone our outdoor lead climbing skills. He was early and had three top ropes set up before our meeting time.Adam is an excellent teacher. He communicates clearly and demonstrates all the skills he wants us to use.Without his guidance and coaching we would not have climbed as much and learned better lead climbing techniques.If you are trying to transition from indoor to outdoor climbing, returning to climbing or just want to climb things you are not (yet) comfortable leading, having Adam help guide you is a no brainer. Do this and you will have more fun!

An amazing adventure for families visiting the San Antonio Riverwalk! We challenged ourselves and completed two levels of obstacles, and the zip rail over the riverwalk lagoon was absolutely thrilling. Affordable and unforgettable. The climbing walls are a blast. Highly recommend!

Fun experience and the staff was GREAT! A perfect adventure for a solo traveler. Although I didn’t use it, they had a nice semi-private party area for groups too.

Robert was great! We were Very New to Rock climbing and he taught us the hows and the whys and we felt very safe. Beautiful nature area nestled right in the city. Rock climbing is Hard work, but we had a lot of fun!

We went on the Zip Rails and Ropes Course prior to visiting the caverns. We all had a good laugh on them, walking across the rolling barrel, going down the zip lines and tight rope walking….all with a safety harness in place of course.It was so easy to get around on the course and it wasn’t too busy. Great fun. We spent about 45 minutes in total on the course, more than enough time to get around and do the course.

Just finished my 3rd climb with Rock-About in 4 months. Went to Enchanted Rock and it was such great climbing. Adam knows every route and he sets up the climbs perfectly for fun and to be challenging. Every single time I have climbed with Rock-About, I am so glad I did. Adam is totally professional, knows all the best climbing spots and routes in the areas and safety is always number 1. I can’t say enough good things about Adam and Rock - About. Enjoy your climb!

This was one of our favorite experiences during our time in Austin, if not our favorite!! My husband and I had never been outdoor climbing before but Russell was an absolutely amazing guide/ coach and made us feel so comfortable and taught us so many different things that we will hold on to! He is so knowledgeable, helpful, encouraging, and patient! We not only learned how to rappel, climb, tie the rope, etc but also about the history of climbing in the area and other interesting facts!! By the time we left we felt like we had been climbing for years!We are so so grateful to Russel for being such an amazing guide and providing us with such a great first experience outdoor climbing!Definitely book it! You will not regret it!

My partner and I recently took the multi-pitch climbing course from Adam. The course was well structures with lots of very informative ground demonstrations of the various techniques and tools we would be using plus ample time climbing and putting the techniques into practice. Adam guided us up the various pitches and gently instructed us as we employed his teachings on how to properly build anchors, belay, manage rope, rappel, etc. He was very relaxed and easy going which made the whole experience less stressful and more enjoyable for us. We feel like we got plenty of experience and that this course was a great value for the money.

Awesome lead climbing course with Russell !!! We were a group of 4 with mixed abilities and we all thoroughly enjoyed the course, learnt sooo much . fully confident to climb outdoors after the course. Had such a great time ! So hyped ! 100% recommend

After several years of my not climbing, and getting older, Russell—our guide was good at encouraging, directing and challenging me up the wonderfully featured faces of Penitentiary Hollow outside Mineral Wells. I came away with a sense of accomplishment and look forward to meeting Russell for another outing at another Texas craig.

Myself and my partner completed a 5 hour beginnings lesson today with Russell. What can I say! It was absolutely incredible and we loved every single minute! Russell was so friendly and made us feel safe, comfortable and at ease right away! He gave us lots of great advice on technique and general climbing etiquette! 100% would highly recommend to anyone. We have had a small amount of indoor climbing experience but never outside, and we couldn’t have asked for a better first experience on the rock than we had today! Thanks again to Rock-About and Russell! :)

My daughter absolutely loves this camp each year. Lots of outdoor climbing opportunities to give real world climbing experience. Kids are taught all aspects of climbing and safety. It does get hot but lots of breaks for playing in the water and my daughter loves the day where they go get ice cream at the end of the day. Also a great opportunity for your kid to see parts of Austin and surrounding areas that might not have seen before when they go climbing.
