Naples Travel Guides (Updated September 2026)

We spent two weeks travelling throughout Italy and did many tours! Our final tour was to Capri and Anacapri with our very own celebrity Gabriel who kinda looks like George Clooney. 🤔. No if, ands or buts, he is the very best leader by far! I STRONGLY recommend this Rockstar Celebrity as your next tour leader!!! Full of energy and so much fun! We wish we could have had someone like Gabriel on all of our tours. He made sure to get our group through the caos so smoothly that we had extra free time. Thank you Gabriel (my celebrity god) for a fun filled day and making the tour so much more than what it already was. All the best to you and your fiance on your new upcoming life together ❤️ WE LOVE YOU GABRIEL!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

We had an excellent time! Angelo, our guide, was very welcoming and informative. We tried lemon linguine on his recommendation and had a spiritual experience! Limoncello tasting was also a nice touch. One thing that could go better is if we had planned bathroom breaks/stops. The distance between different cities isn't too long, but some of them were very crowded, so finding an accessible bathroom was an adventure in itself.

This destination was a bucket list place to visit. It was my first tour off a cruise ship I've done independently and was apprehensive it'll go well. I need not worry. The communication with the company, pick up point all worked out fine. There was an issue with the bus and we had to wait for another but all sorted and off we went. Our local guide in Pompeii was incredible. He was born and raised around Pompeii and had lots of stories and inside knowledge. It was hot!! Not many places with shade but my goodness it was fascinating. That there is even more still covered is amazing. Walking the same streets and entering houses with beautiful frescos on the wall is incredible. A good 2 and half hours here was a good time. Picked up and dropped back at the ship. Bucket list ticked off

Great tour. Boat ride is highly recommended. Our guide Ashwini was amazing. Very friendly and knowledgeable. Our driver Guiseppe was a pro.

We were actually on a small group private wine tasting tour with light lunch at Cantina del Vesuvio on the Russo family estate (not listed here), The wine was superb. The food was excellent. The World Tours guide, Tommy, turned out to be not only an excellent driver but also exceptionally knowledgeable about his home town and the area generally. A brilliant sense of humour was the icing on the cake!

Really impressive guide, Imma,who was an archeologist. This is a must see when visiting Naples. Tour operator with bus was hard to find as our ship wasn't docked close by so we had to power walk for 20 minutes to get to the meeting point. Not impressed with this so if booking off of a cruise, make sure you check Google maps before leaving the ship

This was great! The three stops were fairly far from our cruise port, so it was nice to have a driver. Our guide was so friendly and knowledgeable, the stops were beautiful, and the boat option is absolutely worth it. We had a whole new perspective of the Amalfi coast from the boat.

Truly beautiful experience. We chose the sunset boat tour in Naples and had a great time, from beginning to end. Booking was very easy and we received an immediate answer to any question. The view at sunset seen from the sea is simply spectacular, but what made the experience even more pleasant were Dario's professionalism and availability. The atmosphere was relaxed right from the start. Everything organized with care and without ever appearing too touristy. A different and truly pleasant way to experience Naples. Absolutely recommended!

For my birthday Samuele Sanselmo organized a fantastic day for us with his irony, his imagination, and his wisdom about the history of Amalfi and Positano, and I highly recommend him. Thanks so much ❤️

Geppi our guide was excellent, a tremendous host! He taught us a little about the history of Naples and most importantly, its typical foods. We started with the margherita pizza, continued with a Tarallo Salato and then went to Sfogliate, where we tried the crispy Sfogliatelli with ricotta. 100% recommended service! Geppi was very attentive to everything we needed and kept us hydrated on a 35-degree day. We would highly recommend the experience!
