The tequila tour was one of the highlights of our trip! Hector was an awesome tour guide—knowledgeable, friendly, and a lot of fun. We learned so much about tequila, from its history to how it’s made, while having a great time throughout the experience. We would absolutely do this tour again when we return and will definitely recommend it to others!

It was a awesome experience. This is my second time taking the class its wonderful and learn something new each time. I recommend anyone visiting Puerto Vallarta to take this wonderful experience you will enjoy it! Thank you Chef Gaby.

A todos los turistas de Vallarta no se pierdan de este gran paseo en el selva!It was such a fun, awesome experience to off road within the Sierra Madre and see how the culture thrives within. Big shout out to Herman and our profesional photographer for showing us the jungle of Puerto Vallarta. Truly beautiful experience. For those visiting first time puerto Vallarta and to see what’s outside of the city, I truly recommend Dirty Monkey Adventures!!!

I’ve done cooking classes before, but Gaby’s was on a completely different level. Everything was from scratch! we learned how to pick out fresh ingredients, where to find the best local food, and then got to cook and eat everything with an amazing view.I honestly lost count of how many things we made! Every dish had a gourmet chef twist and tasted like something you’d order at a restaurant. And I grew up eating Mexican food, so I’m not easily impressed 😂. The fact that we actually helped make all of this ourselves made it even better.We’ll definitely be coming back to try the other classes. If you love food, you HAVE to take this class!

Such a great guide who had great energy! The bioluminescence was super bright and it was a great time to see in the warm waters. Definitely would recommend and go again

It was definitely worth it. While there are no photos, it is definitely a memory worth it. Don’t let that part turn you away.

It was amazing! Maggie was super informative on marine life in Puerto Vallarta and provided a great experience for us. We had such a wonderful time releasing the baby turtles and learning about them. Next time we are in Puerto Vallarta we will be doing this again, thank you for a great time Maggie!

Our Culinary Backstreets tour in Guadalajara was one of the highlights of our trip. It was so much more than a food tour — it was a wonderful introduction to the people, neighborhoods, history, traditions and flavors that make Guadalajara such a fascinating city.What I love about Culinary Backstreets is that they take you beyond the obvious places and introduce you to the small restaurants, markets, cooks and family businesses that really tell the story of a city. Every stop seemed to have a story behind it, and the food became a way of understanding Guadalajara and the culture of Jalisco.And a huge part of what made this experience so special was our guide, Eliza. She was absolutely incredible. She brought such warmth, enthusiasm and curiosity to the day and had an amazing ability to make every stop feel personal. She was incredibly knowledgeable about Guadalajara — not just its food, but its history, neighborhoods, people and traditions — and she shared that knowledge in a way that was engaging, relaxed and fun. You could tell she genuinely loves the city and loves introducing people to it.The food, of course, was fantastic, but what stayed with us were the stories behind it — learning about the families who created these places, the traditions behind what we were eating, and how recipes and food customs have been passed from one generation to the next.Once again, Culinary Backstreets delivered exactly the kind of experience we love when we travel: authentic, personal, delicious and filled with a real sense of place. And Eliza was the perfect person to introduce us to Guadalajara. If you really want to understand this wonderful city — and eat incredibly well along the way — I can't recommend this tour, or Eliza, highly enough.

Our tour guide Axle did a superb job. He stopped at view points for us to take pictures and a great little place for lunch that we would have never found on our own. The food was so flavorful! He kept us safe and we saw so much more of PV than we see down near the beach. Just beautiful and I highly recommend this tour! Thank you.

This tour was educational , heart felt and fun. Michael and Maggie were lovely people and knowledgeable biologists.
