Honolulu Travel Guides (Updated September 2026)

We bought the cheapest package with transport from Waikiki.Due to bad traffic, we boarded the bus at 330pm and didn’t arrive at the Luau until around 515pm. The drive back was much faster, we left around 915pm and arrived back around 10pm.The pre dinner activities were fun. The line for the tattoos was long so we skipped that, but we got a woven headband, photos and flower bracelet.The cocktails you could use the drink vouchers on were pre mixed. We were glad in the end to only have 1 drink voucher included in our package. Although you could also use the voucher for beer and wine so maybe those would have been better.Because we were on the cheapest package, our table was one of the last ones to be allowed up to the buffet. The food was okay, nothing spectacular, and there was plenty of everything except one of the desserts had run out before we could get one.The show was phenomenal and why I’ve still rated this five stars despite the long time taken to get to the venue (not their fault but had me wishing I’d booked a Luau in Wakiki) and average food and drinks.

It was a great experience. The people were very friendly. They had a lot things to do at the luau. It is a must do event.

Papa Tee is an amazing guide. He made the 12 hour journey of pearl harbor, dole and polynesian cultural center memorable for us. He provided us with soft drinks, water and snacks. He also helped us to cope up with the changing weather by providing fans when hot and rain jackets when raining. He also sang and played guitar to bring a whole lively vibe after a tiring day!

Papa P was an excellent tour guide! He was incredibly knowledgeable, fun, entertaining, and even a wonderful singer. He was very friendly and personable, and from the very beginning, he made us feel like we had known him for years.He made the entire day feel easygoing, enjoyable, and stress-free. His energy and personality made the experience truly memorable.I highly recommend Papa P to anyone looking for a fantastic tour guide. He deserves 5 stars!

Great experience felt safe the entire time. Pictures and videos taken looked great. They had everything needed from snorkel gear to life vests. Pointed out the baby turtles to see. Would definitely do again and recommend to everyone

The overall experience was excellent, mainly due to our Guide, Lucas. He was knowledgeable, interesting, humorous, funny and professional, very thorough and caring. And he's an excellent driver, he really knows his way around Honolulu and Waikiki. I would highly recommend this tour and same for Lucas!

We had an excellent time on this round trip to Dole Plantation and back. Bus driver was very knowledgeable.

We had a such a great day out on the ocean snorkeling with this incredible crew. Elijah, Jake, and Miriam were so much fun and they went out of their way to make it a perfect day. We would highly recommend this tour

Our driver was informative and did exactly everything that he said he was going to do with a friendly and welcoming demeanor. He was easy to understand, because I get confused easy. All in all it was a great trip and a great day.

Loved this show! The entertainment and food was wonderful. We had the transfers to and from our hotel and found our driver to be prompt and personable. I would recommend this activity for couples or for the whole family.
