Dalmatia Travel Guides (Updated September 2026)

Our guide was lots of fun and very knowledgeable. We moved at a quick pace which meant we could cover a lot of ground. The tour was only 8 people which made it much more enjoyable than being part of a large herd. We went back later on our own to wander the streets, after having a good introduction with the tour.

Had great group experience, especially the captain Givo was great as my wife doesn’t know how to swim. He provided all the equipment for her to be safe in water.

We had a lovely couple of hours with our guide Maro, who took us to the top of the cable car, fantastic views, he was very accommodating, dropping us off at the Pile Gate at the end of our tour. He was very knowledgeable about the history of the area. He picked us up at the cruise port, which was great for us. The contact between us and the company was excellent, keeping us informed and sending us a video of where the pick up was.

Our guide was incredibly knowledgeable and presented information in a great manner. She was funny and kept our attention throughout the tour. I highly recommend it.

Lots of walking, and a fair amount of stairs, so wear comfortable shoes.Lots of good information on the Old City and also on Game of Thrones locations.

Marko was GREAT! He was prompt, knowledgeable and very friendly. We learned so much history of Hvar. He stopped to let us take photos and even recommended a delicious restaurant for dinner. Apparently, he also does bike tours. Definitely ask for him if you ever do a tuk tuk tour in Hvar!

I booked the private sunset tour for my girlfriend and myself. After booking the tour, I emailed Ante and let him know that if it was OK with him, I would like to propose to her at the top of the mountain. He said that not only would that not be a problem but that he would would assist in making the moment extra special. I can not stress enough how amazing the moment ended up being!! The tour was absolutely beautiful and will forever be one of the most amazing experiences of our lives.

Did X-Adventures with my partner on the sunset tour. Joseph was our guide and was so knowledgeable of the area and just a cool friendly dude. It was so much more worth it than I had expected.

Wonderful experience with Edin and Dion. They were great guides and Edin was very knowledgeable and provided a lot of background about Dubrovnik during the kayaking tour.
