The guide is on request will help you skip the long lines at the ticket office and is not included in the tour price. A 2 hour stop is foreseen. The transfer to Naples after the visit to the excavations will last around 30/40 minutes, depending on where the arrival point is located, traffic permitting.
It is also possible to leave from Rome and arrive in Naples.
