Castel Gandolfo Kayak Tour with Wine and Food Tasting
Overview
We will meet on the lake,(www.instagram.com/romekayaktour) after a small breafing on the beach we will immerse ourselves immediately in the wildest nature listening only to the sound of the water that moves with our paddles, where, stopping at some points, we will tell you the history of Castelgandolfo.
A dive into the past, from prehistory to ancient Rome, and then to the Pope's trampoline, where the popes loved to spend their summer holidays.
Almost at the end of the tour we will dock on an ancient Roman port and we will find ready for us a tasting of wines, meats and cheeses typical of the place, a relaxing break and then finish the tour in just 10 minutes.

What To Expect
The lake is unique, romantic, adventurous, playful, all at the same time. Experience it by kayaking and then immerse yourself in the tasting of typical local food makes the tour a real gem of a rare Rome to discover, you leave the usual routine to bring home an indelible memory.
1. Meeting in Anagnina with our minubus
2. Arrive at the lake, change clothes and ground lession for kayak
3. Start of the tour - a deep in the wild nature with our guide\instructor - with a stop also for dive (if season permit)
4. After 2 hours stop in Roman Docks where we found wine, cheese and meat , typical of Italian taste
5. Returning in 30 min at the starting point
6. Shower if you need and returning in Rome at the underground station of Anagnina

Nov 2021No experience is necessary! Beginners are welcome on all of our kayak tours. Most of our guests have never been in a sea kayak before. Anyone in average physical condition may join a kayak tour. If you can hike or bike, you can paddle our sea kayaks. You do not need any swimming skills either.
The only prerequisite is a healthy spirit of curiosity and adventure.
Regardless of age or skill level you will find that our expeditions offer enough flexibility to make your experience with us safe and rewarding. We will show you proper sea kayaking technique and water safety before leaving the beach. And your expert guides will be with you throughout the adventure to give you pointers and improve your skills.
Sep 2022Your safety is Cool Destinations’s number one concern. In general, sea kayaking is safer than most other outdoor pursuits, even bicycling.
Jan 2023If you have any doubts about becoming seasick on the water, we recommend taking a Dramamine® Motion Sickness Relief tablet the night before your trip. Some people recommend taking it the night before your cruise and then again that morning so you will not feel so drowsy.
