Overview
This small group tour discovers the medieval villages of Tuscany. On the way to Siena, you'll have the chance to visit Orvieto with its wonderful Cathedral and Cortona, worldwide famouse for "Under the sun of Tuscany" that was filmed there. After visiting Siena, it's time to discover San Gimignano, a place of great wine cellars and old palaces and Volterra, major centre of the Etruscans. Included is an excursion to the Chianti Valley with wine tasting and the walled town of Lucca. On the last day, discover Pienza, the gate of entry to the Val d'Orcia, Montepulciano and Montalcino with its fortress and places to taste Montalcino red wine. The tour ends returning to Rome.
Departures on 2021, July 8th, August 5th and October 7th and 2022, May 5th, July 7th, August 4th, September 1st and October 6th are also available with tour director in Portuguese.
