Historic / Educational Private Day Sail - South Coast of Puerto Rico
Overview
With the assistance of expert ecotour guide, our experienced USCG Captain and crew you will enjoy a day of great sailing and learning history of the Jobos Bay National Estuarine Research Reserve (JBNERR) in the comfort and privacy of our 36-foot sailboat fit for six (6) passengers. Private Day Sail Charters depart from the gorgeous town of Guayama at the docks of the Guayama Fishing Club, famous for its stunning sunset views. The departure dock in the town of Guayama is about an hour drive away from San Juan, through the amazing landscapes of the Cordillera Central, the main mountain range in Puerto Rico.

What To Expect
Activity starts between 9:30 to 10:00 am , sailing in the south coast of Puerto Rico and visiting the protected waters of the second largest estuarine area of the Island, the Jobos Bay National Estuarine Research Reserve (JBNERR). Voyage into the historic area aboard a beautiful well maintained 36-foot sailboat, with your own USCG Captain and first mate. Learn all about the natural environment of the Jobos Bay with our recognized ecotour expert, Ray Rodríguez, while sailing to Cayo Caribe and enjoying hike thru the historic cay, with narration of the life of famous pirate Cofresi in this area and eventual capture. You can bring your favorite food and drinks to enjoy! Returning to the starting location from 3:30 to 4:00 pm
