This historic place of production has now also become a place of discovery and knowledge of the world of oil for the whole family, involving children and intriguing adults through the recreational-educational experiences of the multimedia tour, tasting and shop.
Each stage will involve and stimulate the five senses for an experience
truly immersive and interactive.

What To Expect
The Frantoio di San Gimignano offers you an engaging and immersive experience to discover extra virgin olive oil with the interactive tour of the oil mill, the tasting of extra virgin olive oil and the shop.
You will be able to experience the oil mill not only as a place of production, but also as a place of knowledge and flavours, of curiosity, of ancient traditions and technological progress.
The opportunity to walk around the production sites will be enriched by the presence of interactive panels, virtual reality stations, multitouch tables and lecterns, to offer an engaging recreational and educational journey into the world of olive trees and oil.
The tour is available in dual languages, Italian and English.
The visit will be made even more special by tasting the extra virgin oil produced by the mill and combined with the typical regional bread, accompanied by a technical explanation to grasp the different properties of the product.
The shop is a hymn to the richness of extra virgin olive oil in its various forms, with a variety of products ranging from oil, gastronomy and cosmetics.
