Cruise on a safe vessel towards the pristine waters of Balos and Gramvousa. There, in the monumental beauty of the surroundings, you will enjoy swimming and relaxation while the well-known Panos, the fisherman whom was chosen by Gordon Ramsey, and one of the most sought-after professionals in Crete, together with other hand-picked spear fishermen, dive to a depth of 30m with spear guns to hunt for your meal.
Panos will share with you the adventure of his underwater fishing, the names of the various fish. He will descale and clean the fish on the spot and will prepare, with the other staff, the rest of your unforgettable escape. Either by lighting a fire on the shore or taking you to the fishing shack of a local fisherman, a meal of unparalleled freshness and taste is waiting only for you. From the sea straight to your palate. You will accompany it with other local dishes and Cretan wine or beer.

What To Expect
Everything begins in Chania Old Port as a very private excursion for 5-6 people, in a safe vessel in the pristine waters of Gramvoussa.
There, in the monumental beauty of the surroundings, you will you will enjoy swimming and relaxation while the well-known Panos, the fisherman whom was chosen by Gordon Ramsey, and one of the most sought-after professionals in Crete, together with other hand-picked spear fishermen, dive to a depth of 30m with spear guns to hunt for your meal.
The catch includes every kind of treasure from the sea, every category of fish and crustacean. Whatever the result, “the tastiest fish is the freshest”! And the experience of tasting fish which is brought out of the sea before your eyes is unforgettable.

Yes. Whatever the fishing calls for: live bait, frozen bait, cut bait, or chum, our Charter Captains will have plentiful supplies on hand. The same thing goes for artificial bait such as lures, flies, or plugs.
Jul 2022If you have any doubts about becoming seasick on the water, we recommend taking a Dramamine® Motion Sickness Relief tablet the night before your trip. Some people recommend taking it the night before your cruise and then again that morning so you will not feel so drowsy.
