Allowing for a more personalized experience. We place around 12 snorkel guests in our snorkel boats that can fit 18 comfortably.

Meeting and Pickup
We provide transportation within Cozumel; Cruise Pier, Hotel/Resort & FerryPlease be aware that you may be coming from a different time zone. Cozumel does not follow day light savings so half the year we are on EST and the other half is CST. So March-November (spring & summer) Cozumel is CST and November-March (fall & winter) is EST. The cruise ships should be using our local time for the time of arrival to the island. You may also see your cruise ships time of arrival using our cruise ship schedule, and the link is provided belowYour cruise ship itinerary is based on our local time. For example, if your cruise ship says it will be docking in Cozumel at 8AM, that is local time, and if your meeting time is 8:30AM local time, you will have 30 minutes to get to your meeting point. All meeting points are very close and within walking distance of the cruise pier area.

We are a small family tour operator in Cozumel that has been providing our famous Cozumel Snorkel excursion for over 25 years. Rated the #1 Snorkel tour operator in Cozumel for many years. What makes our snorkel tours unique, is the fact that we only provide small group and a private tours for a more personalized experience.
We are the only tour operator licensed to provide transportation for our guests and pick up anywhere within Cozumel. Pick-ups include Cruise piers, hotels and ferry etc. You won't have to pay a taxi to the marina.
Our family takes our guests to the very best Cozumel reefs, which are Palancar Reef & Colombia Reef. Most tour operators take their guest out 2 hours, compared to ours which is over 4 hours.
Afterwards we visit the most gorgeous sandbar in the Caribbean called El Cielo. The water at El Cielo is so clear that it reflects the sky above, creating a breathtakingly beautiful scene that is truly otherworldly. The water here is calm and shallow, making it an ideal spot for families with children or those who are not strong swimmers. You'll get to eat and drink here for about an hour. Enjoy ceviche, fresh fruit, guacamole with chips, beer, soda and water

Yes, we allow pregnant women to go on snorkeling. However, it’s crucial to consult with your healthcare provider before doing so to assess your individual health and pregnancy stage.
Jan 2022Yes, this is possible, as long as you are comfortable going into the water. All Cool Destinations snorkeling tours adhere to strict safety regulations and have been designed to be enjoyed by all.
Your safety is our #1 priority, which is why:
- You will be wearing a flotation device at all times.
- On many tours, there is a stairway from the boat into the water so you won’t have to “jump” in!
- There are trained staff in the water and watching from the boat at all times.
For these reasons, we believe that even non-swimmers can have a wonderful time on our snorkeling trips, however, the final judgment call is yours to make. Please note we do not give refunds if you decide not to snorkel on the trip.
Oct 2021The snorkel gear we use on Cool Destinations tours is high quality and for your protection, the equipment is sanitized after each use. However, if you feel more comfortable using your own snorkeling equipment, feel free to bring it on the tour. Please note, there is no discount for providing your own equipment and we can’t be responsible for any lost or damaged items.

Oct 2021There are no legal age limits for snorkeling. We have found that age 5 or 6 is a good age to learn the basics of snorkeling, however, it’s entirely up to individuals to make the best choice for their family.
Sep 2021If you have any doubts about becoming seasick on the water, we recommend taking a Dramamine® Motion Sickness Relief tablet the night before your trip. Some people recommend taking it the night before your cruise and then again that morning so you will not feel so drowsy.
Feb 2023- For a full refund, you must cancel at least 24 hours before the tour start time.
- If you cancel less than 24 hours before the tour start time, the amount you paid will not be refunded.
