What To Expect
After taking a 20 minute basic class, you will have the opportunity to dive underwater for about an hour with a certified instructor (PADI Y SSI) where you will have the opportunity to safely use a Scuba equipment to a maximum depth of 8 meters, you start at a low where you can stand.
We do the activity in Chankanaab Park where we have colorful fish, coral formations, the statue of Christ and the virgin, also the best part, some caves where we have a phenomenon called thermocline, this activity is suitable from children over 10 years old and above.
After the diving program you can continue to use the snorkeling equipment and visit the other attractions that the park has.

Participants in the Discovering Diving in Chankanaab Park cannot fly in an airplane within 24 hours of their dive.
The main concern with scuba diving and flying is decompression sickness (DCS). Your body needs adequate time during an ascent to off-gas excess nitrogen, or you can form bubbles in your bloodstream, possibly leading to DCS.
Jun 2024If you have any doubts about becoming seasick on the water, we recommend taking a Dramamine® Motion Sickness Relief tablet the night before your trip. Some people recommend taking it the night before your cruise and then again that morning so you will not feel so drowsy.
