The last aristocratic owner, Count John Palfy, decided to rebuild the castle into a romantic chateau in the Gothic Revival style. As a model, he used the French castles of the Loire valley. Admire the fully furnished interiors on your guided castle tour. Lunch break and drive to the fairy-tale Cicmany village, famous for its painted wooden houses.
