Top Wyoming Horseback Riding

Great experience. Aspen our guide was great. The views were spectacular. But mostly the horses were obviously very well taken care of and loved.

This was my first time riding a horse ever, and it was so much fun! The wranglers, especially Rebecca, were so helpful and encouraging. They made the experience even more fun and the 90 minute ride went by way too fast. I couldn’t recommend this ranch enough!

Magical tour with Sully! We felt like we learned more in 4 hours with Sully, than we could have studying the Teton history, wildlife and botany for years! We are so grateful that we took this tour, best part of our vacation!

Perfect trip. Anthony and Rachel were the perfect guides. Excellent communication. Easy pickup and drop off. They made the experience wonderful.

Your guide makes or breaks your ride and Nora was an excellent and personable guide. We enjoyed the company, horses and views. It was my wife’s first time riding and it was no problem for her (but don’t think riding is for the weak of heart). Get out there and enjoy life!

Our tour was wonderful. We couldn't have been more pleased with Rachel and Anthony as our guides and their level of professionalism, patience and flexibility with our family of six, including four kids. We all loved them! So informative, easy to chat with, helpful, thoughtful, etc. Highly recommend!

Easy pick up and drop off. A smooth ride and lots of local historic facts . Ashley was able to answer all our questions. Knows the local history

Such a beautiful morning ride!! Weather was perfect and horses Katniss and tequila were on their very best behavior. Our guide London was so kind and sweet and very personable. She set up the cutest breakfast table up on the mountain and we were able to enjoy the wildflowers and scenery to its fullest. Highly recommend!!

It is the best horseback company in Jackson. They have rare access to Bridger-Teton National Forest trails. The team is amazing, and our wrangler, London, made our ride unforgettable. Their horses are wonderful and easygoing. We did the morning breakfast ride, which was a beautiful time of day to ride.

First time in Wyoming with our 10 year old grandson. A true highlight and the views were amazing. Adam was our guide and really connected with our grandson who felt they were now ‘ best friends’. Highly recommended.

I would like to highly recommend the Moon Hitch Wagon Company tours on the Bozeman trail for anyone traveling through Buffalo, WY. We planned a trip to Buffalo, WY on the 13th of July, 2026. We booked the scenic Bozeman trail wagon ride at 7:30pm with the hopes of seeing the sunset over the Big Horn Mountains. However mother nature has other plans for us. Received a text from Ashlee, from Moon Hitch Wagon Company, our tour was canceled due to expecting temperatures higher than is safe for the horses and her customers. Being very proactive, giving us a couple days to find plan B, and already initiating a refund for my wife and I. From the very first day of booking, Ashlee was communicating with us to ensure a seamless experience. Today with the cancelation, she personally sent a text, prior to receiving a cancelation email, to let me know why the cancelations were needed. Her priority and concern for the welfare of her horse, due to the heat, required the tour to be canceled. As she said in the text. The health and welfare of her animals is the top priority of Moon Hitch Wagon Company, she also had suggestions for things to see in town and area as an alternative, which was very much appreciated. Long story short, book with confidence, Ashlee will take care of you. We will book another tour with Ashlee, next time we are passing through Buffalo WY

We had a fabulous ride with a very knowledgeable guide and spectacular views. They were prompt, organized and very helpful throughout the whole trip and sent us fantastic pictures they had taken. Highly recommend Willow Creek Horseback Rides.

Mark is the best guide ever. His enthusiasm and knowledge are unparalleled. We could not be more happy. His kindness and patience certainly with our kids made this tour special

We had an amazing experience on our private tour with Jesse! He was incredibly attentive and knowledgeable, with a remarkable eye for spotting animals—and he even brought along fun stuffed animals to represent each species we saw. His passion for wildlife was obvious, and he truly tailored the experience to our group’s interests and preferences. We also loved our sleigh ride with Michael, who did a wonderful job helping us see and learn about the elk. Altogether, it was a fantastic experience and a perfect choice for anyone wanting to learn more about Jackson’s wildlife and enjoy it up close.

Great horseback riding experience — Rebekah was an awesome wrangler and Bob — what a horse. 90 minutes was the perfect time. Scenery was beautiful

Well run. Safe. Beautiful scenery. Leader was knowledgeable and safety minded. Very good experience.
