Stephen was an excellent guide - well-informed, articulate and loud enough for all 16-18 people to hear, humorous and engaging. I throughly recommend this tour if you want to get an introduction to the history, culture and people of Westport.

Absolutely fabulous experience, Im a manual wheelchair user and worried if I would be able to get everywhere - I absolutely could. Our guide was so knowledgeable and gave us just enough information without overwhelming us. The length and pace of the tour was perfect and we were able to enjoy so many treats along the way. Its obvious the passion the guide had for Ireland and Westport and was lovely to see.

I had a lovely experience today doing the ‘Sweet’ walking tour. Our tour guide Ed was full of interesting knowledge about the town of Westport. During the tour we stopped off in various shops to try the delicious local sweet treats Westport has to offer. I would highly recommend this tour - thank you Ed !!

I was lucky enough to experience this incredible food tour on Thursday while visiting Westport. I was blown away by the variety and quality of all the foods I got to try - everything was fresh and made with ingredients sourced from local suppliers. Our tour guide Edmond was warm and welcoming, answering any and all questions I had about the town's local history. I will absolutely be recommending this tour as the perfect Westport activity to all my foodie friends!

My mom, sister and I attended the food tour on June 25th, 2026 with Edmund as our guide. He provided historical and cultural commentary at each stop along the tour, and had a great sense of humor too! The food at every stop was delicious, the variety was superb, and each shop owner was incredibly friendly and inviting. I especially loved that the tour took us to parts of the town that we would never have found ourselves, so you really felt like you were getting the true local experience. I would highly recommend this tour to anyone who enjoys food (so everyone!) And if you're lucky enough to be walking with Edmund, you'll have an amazing time, rain or shine!

The sweet treat tour with Ed was absolutely amazing. Ed was so lovely and very professional. The tour had such great information and history all about Westport town but was delivered in a really informative and accessible manner. Visiting the local businesses and trying out local Westport produce was such a lovely experience. From Curry’s yellow top cakes to krem icecream, everything was so delicious. The tour was around two hours and well worth doing. Throughly enjoyed and an essential thing to do when visiting Westport !

We had our Sweet Treat Wesport Tour with Steve as our guide today and are so impressed. It was very informative and engaging at the same time. Steve was very friendly and funny which my girls appreciated. He held their attention for the full duration of the tour not just with all the delicious treats we got but also with all the stories we were told. We visited fantastic local businesses and everyone was so welcoming. We will be back to do the food and the pub tours definitely. Can't wait.

Stephen is very passionate about Westport and this tour was a great mix of sweet treats, wit, and very interesting information about Westport’s history and everything going on in the town currently. We got to sample sweet treats such as gelato, chocolates, and yellow top buns - which I had never heard of but were unique and delicious. It was also fun hearing about these different businesses and how they came to be. I will definitely take another one of their walking tours when I return to Westport in the future….hopefully within the next year or so!

I recently booked the food walking tour in Westport for my husbands birthday. We did the tour with Ed and what an amazing tour it was. We live near Westport but have never been to some of the restaurants, shops and pubs we visited but will certainly revisit these establishments soon. What a great tour. We learned some interesting history about the town of Westport. We had some fabulous snacks from local vendors that were unique and some were award winning. Pace was great and didn’t have to really walk too far. Appreciated not getting overloaded with dates and history. Learned about good restaurants and pubs. We did a walking tour in Dublin and this one in Westport was far superior.

This tour was a great addition to our Westport itinerary. Our guide, Steven, was incredibly knowledgeable and passionate about his town and was able to answer all our questions and provide excellent recommendations about how to spend the rest of our visit.The sweet treats along the way were all delicious and came with interesting stories about the people who made them and how they shaped the town.We'd highly recommend taking any of the Westport Walking Tours during your visit.

We have done food tours in other cities and this one topped them all! Edmond was fantastic - wonderful history incorporated into the tour. Great food choices! Savoir Fare was a highlight - the owner taught us so much! One tip is to do this at the beginning of your time in Westport
