The driver/ quide was fantastic. He told us many intetesting things about Romania and culture. Boat Captein show us many birds and give time to takes photos as long as we need.

Our tour guide was Claudiu. He gave us a wonderfull day with lots of information about the country and the delta itself. He knew a lot of birds so when we saw one he told us what kind of bird it was. It was amazing.

Reaching the delta from Bucharest at dawn was exciting. Alin, Expert driver, took us to Tulcea where the boat was waiting for us. We ventured along the various arms of the delta, first at high speed and then more slowly to explore the rich flora along the banks and embankments of the Danube. The immense and solemn river welcomed us revealing the hidden beauty of its most suggestive corners. The trip ended, after lunch at a restaurant on the river, around 4:30 pm. Once the bus was back, Alin set course for Bucharest which we reached around 20:30. Unforgettable trip! Excellent value for money.

A great experience. Our guide Claudiu was very friendly and knowledgeable, and we learned many fascinating things about the country and its history, and about the Danube Delta, on the drive. The boat was very comfortable, and we were treated to an amazing variety of birds including a spectacular mixed flock of great white pelicans, great white egrets, little egrets, grey herons, cormorants and pygmy cormorants. Other highlights included whiskered terns, night herons, squacco (yellow) herons, white-tailed eagles and glossy ibis. Lunch was also excellent, with a delicious catfish soup and fried carp. It was definitely worth the long drive and we can warmly recommend Claudiu as a guide!

The midweek trip to the Danube Delta was a great experience, one that justifies our 10-day visit to Romania on its own. The water tour started slowly, but as we delved deeper into the Delta, the variety of wildlife, especially birds, increased significantly. Many lived in colonies, some intermingling with others, and some not. We saw turtles and water snakes. We ate on an island with the lunch served by a family for whom the Delta is home. Alin, our host, provided us with a wealth of information. We highly recommend the experience.

Nicholas was fantastic. On time, great driving skills and a killer play list. He has excellent knowledge and kept us laughing. He was super flexible and even helped me find a place to swim The delta was gorgeous 😍 Cannot recommend highly enough

We had an incredible experience on our trip to the Danube Delta! The abundance of pelicans and other beautiful birds made it a bird-watcher's dream come true. The boat driver and tour guide Nicolas were fantastic, ensuring we had a smooth and enjoyable journey throughout the delta. They even made a last minute one-day trip including transfer, boat tour and lunch possible for us.Overall, it was a fantastic day, filled with stunning wildlife, trading lunch and great company. We highly recommend this trip to anyone who loves nature, wants to spot fascinating birds, and enjoy some laughs along the way! We will highly recommend it to everyone!

It is a long day there and back but with a guide like Sebastian the time just flew because of the intérsting and informative discussions we had broader than just the delta in isolation. The delta like any other delta is not the easiest place to watch birds but just bring your binoculars with you - it helps a lot!

Our guide and driver, Bogdan, was very friendly and helpful - and keen to ensure we had a good day...which we did! It was a brilliant trip and we were very excited to explore the Danube Delta. The drive there was long (as we expected) but Bogdan was an excellent driver and we had a few stops. Once we arrived, the boat was extremely plush and it was a real treat to be the only people on it. We were a little disappointed not to see more birdlife - perhaps it was the time of year? Some guidance on what you're likely to see in the trip listing might be helpful to people. But the scenery was amazing and we saw a few different birds - and snakes swimming in the water. We had a warm welcome for lunch and it was really interesting to see how people live in the Danube Delta. The food was okay - it was tricky to eat the fish with so many bones, but good to try something new and try authentic Romanian dishes. And I loved meeting the lovely little dog who was living there. Such a happy soul. All in all a wonderful trip! Thank you :)

Great views of the Danube Delta with several variety of birds. Our driver and guide was very knowledgeable and ensured that the we were well fed with a fish feast from the Danube.

Fantastic and memorable boat tour of the Danube Delta ! It was such a unique experience. The scenery was very beautiful and tranquil. We saw so many birds in their natural habitat. It was so peaceful. Lunch with the locals was very good. Our tour guide Roxana was very knowledgeable and engaging. Our kids enjoyed the tour too. We definitely recommend this tour. We loved everything about this tour! Radu, our tour guide, was incredible! Full of stories and facts about Romania, knowledgeable and courteous. The delta was beautiful and we saw lots of birds, more than we expected. The meal was authentic and plentiful! Highly recommended!

Our guide was great as far as hotel pick up explaining the history of Romania. Disappointed as far as seeing birds. All the boat operators use the same canal so all the animals go somewhere else. Expensive and long drive from Bucharest. Everyone goes to the same restaurant. Not really a fisherman 's house. Same menu carp,fish,soup. Drinks extra.

Sebastian Is a wealth of Romain history as a University graduate in history. His prompt pick up at our hotel seperated him from the other guides.
