Amazing

Victoria Zodiac Boat Whale Watching Adventure
Glenn_H, Sep 2026
Amazing
Absolutely spectacular. We saw orcas on the hunt, humpback whales breaching, a ton of sea lions and even a bit of sunshine. My advice, however, is to leave the phone camera - no matter how good it is advertised - at home and invest and invest in a quality camera and lens. Otherwise, a brilliant experience and value for money

Fantastic Zodiac whale watching tour with Prince of Whales! The experience was exciting, well organized, and gave us amazing wildlife sightings. A special thanks to Mark, our guide, who was absolutely outstanding. His knowledge, enthusiasm, and passion for marine wildlife made the tour even more memorable. He was engaging, informative, and made everyone feel welcome and safe throughout the trip. Highly recommend Prince of Whales, and especially Mark, for an unforgettable adventure!

Our entire crew was outstanding from start to finish. Captain Lindsey & First Mate François kept operations running seamlessly. The team of naturalists—Andrei, Eden, and Janae—were incredibly knowledgeable, passionate, and eager to share insightful facts about the local marine ecosystem and wildlife. We even got to see some humpbacks Thank you to Lindsey, François, Andrei, Eden, and Janae for a spectacular day on the water!

Whale of a time!
A solid three hours of education. Amanda and Katie the guides were excellent. Each has a degree in the Biology field, one a zoologist and the other a marine biologist and both involved in research in their fields. They were full of interesting information that enhanced the experience. Ian the pilot drove a steady, calm race and clearly knew where to find the whales. I lost count of how many we saw but the girls through their research gave intimate details of the whales we saw. We also saw sea lions and many marine birds. A thoroughly worthwhile trip that was great value for money. You also get access to photos that the guides took during the trip for free.

Fun whale watch
Had a wonderful whale watching trip. Saw many whales. Katie was a fantastic guide with so much information and enthusiasm. Jasper did a great job as our captain, getting us to great spots to see whales and sea lions. Overall, a great 3 hours.A really nice feature is that Katie will upload her photos to a website so we could enjoy without worrying about getting the best shot.

Beautiful Victoria and Butchart Gardens
The Cool Destinations tour by Surfside Adventure Tours with guide Richard was wonderful. He picked us up at the cruise terminal and showed us the highlights of Victoria and the countryside around it. He is very knowledgeable, calm and accommodating. The Butchart Gardens are incredibly beautiful as are Victoria and the coast and countryside. Highly recommend this company and the tour.

Convenient way to get to and from Butchart Gardens
Very easy to find where to get on and off and meet again to return. Convenient to also buy tickets to the Garden from the kiosk so you don’t have to wait in line at the Garden. Also nice to receive a 45 minute narrated tour there and back. Buses leave on the hour.
