Felix Feder was an excellent host sharing lots of information for our mixed group of English and Spanish speakers.

Alejandra was awesome. I was lucky enough to have the tour to myself so we had the opportunity to chat more. The locations were great and I appreciated the variety starting with a Fresca and ending with a frozen fruit bar. We visited the Mercado and enjoyed some fruits there. It was a great touch to not just have taco after taco, it gets filling.

This food tour has been one of the highlights of our trip. We can’t thank Charlie enough for sharing all of his knowledge of Mayan and yucatan cuisine! Not only did we get to taste unbelievable food that we would never have found without him, but we also learned so much about Valladolid and the maya people. Even some phrases! All of the spots Charlie showed us were different local eateries and had lovely staff that were all so keen to show you their dishes. We really enjoyed chatting with Charlie who is such an interesting and knowledgeable guy. We can’t thank you enough for sharing your culture and favourite spots with us! Highly recommend this tour to anyone in Valladolid!

Amazing mezcal tasting with a great guide. The tasting was very informative and I’m so glad I made the time for this

The cenote is very large and fully covered, with the largest stalagmite in the Yucatan. The tour gives great detail of Mayan mythology and geological information about the cenote and the water systems. Bring your bathing suit if you want to swim before the dinner. There are change rooms and lockers. The water isn’t too cool and is super easy to access. The dinner is wonderful and overlooks the cenote, surrounded by candle light. Bring small bills for tips for the waiter, guide, and the Mayan Shaman who provides a ceremony at the end. Highly recommend this experience! We were the only ones who signed up so had a private dinner but they said the largest size is 20 so still fairly intimate. Worth every dollar plus.

It was the most amazing experience! It’s not a normal tour, he Will give you a look into the live from locals! It is one of the two highlights of my trip and i’ve been travelling for 2 months !

I thought I over a good amount about mezcal, but my trip to Xoul expanded my mind and palette. After an art expert took us through the themed rooms of Mexican artists, we ended in the Mezcal tasting room. Our guide Felix Feder was knowledgeable and passionate about the mezcal, without pressuring us to buy any. I wish the mezcal was a touch more affordable, because I’d love to take two of them home. Overall a relaxing afternoon with some mezcal stories to take home.

My (adult) kids and I had a fantastic time on the Valladolid food tour with Ale! I was worried going into the tour since I am a wheelchair user and wasn't sure how accessible it would be. And while there were of course challenges navigating some areas of town, overall she help me make it work and I am so glad it worked out! Because all the food we tried was fantastic. We went to places I probably would never would have just popped into, but had some of the best food of our stay on the tour. From tacos, and paunchos and lomitas and pipil... And so much more. I highly recommend the tour and the great introduction to Yucatan cuisine that it provides!

We did the Lost Tacos food tour as a family of four adults and had such a great experience. Carlos was an excellent guide — really informative, easy to chat to, and he made the whole experience fun and relaxed.We got to try lots of local food that we never would have ordered or discovered on our own, and everything was absolutely delicious. Carlos explained how each dish was made, what ingredients were used, and what made the food unique to this region of Mexico, which made the experience even more interesting.It was also fun that all four of us ended up having different favourite tacos because there was so much variety and everything was so tasty.Overall, it was one of the highlights of our time in Valladolid and we’d definitely recommend it to anyone visiting the area

Very cool tour, very real, we did not see any other tourists ! Be prepared to experience Yucatan as a local - bring long pants or long socks when you hike !!

Sacred ritual & pristine hidden cenotes—pure peace. Off the beaten path, dress accordingly! High socks, hiking pants, etcétera.

Great experience at Xoul. Tasted a wide variety of artisanal Mezcals with Felix and Frederico who were excellent guides to everything Mezcal. Beautiful gallery of pieces from around Mexico there too!
