Cave and castle both must see in Slovenia. Trip left us speechless. Stefan our tour guide had good knowledge about history and we spent nice time. Definitely i will recommend this trip to everyone who wants to visit Slovenia.

Good excursion to see two unique sites.

We did not expect such a great tour of this amazing cave. It was not only one of the largest caves we ever experienced, but equally beautiful as well. The tour guide did an amazing job explaining all the details.

I arrived on the MSC Fantasia cruise in Trieste, and my main concern was that we would be picked up near the port and returned to the same place at the correct time. I must say that everything went perfectly, communication with the operators was smooth, and they picked us up and dropped us off very close to the cruise. We visited the castle and the cave, and the tickets were included in the price, just as they offered us. Just a small observation, although I understand, the time at the castle was very limited; we had to visit it almost in a rush because we needed to arrive at the cave on time, as there is a strict schedule system there. I have no complaints and recommend this tour; both places are very beautiful and worth visiting.

My family and I took a cruise in May and had the opportunity to visit beautiful Slovenia. Our fantastic guide Igor started the tour by taking us to Ljubljana where he gave us a walking tour of the downtown area. On Fridays in the Spring, they have a Food Festival at lunchtime so we were able to sample some wonderful local cuisine and beers. Then it was on to the famous caves which were amazing – take a jacket because it’s a little chilly. Igor gave us great recommendations all along the way and plenty of time to explore and do a little shopping. If you are looking for a full day excursion this one is perfect to see two popular locations with a very scenic drive. Thanks Igor for the wonderful day!

The Postojna Cave & Predjama Castle - Small Group Tour from Trieste was even better than we imagined! The Predjama Castle was absolutely incredible—built right against the wall, it’s a sight to behold. There were lots of stairs to climb, but we loved the architecture. The Postojna Cave was truly spectacular.Stephan, our driver, was so friendly and shared his knowledge of the region with our group.

It is a wonderful day, lots to see. There is lots of walking in the caves, up hills and down but not too strenuous. The castle through is built into the side of a cliff so lots of steps. Mia was a wonderful guide for the day.

Highly recommended excursion from Trieste. We had a fabulous day seeing the stunning Postojna Cave and Predjama Cave Castle. I booked directly with Trieste Trips via their website and the company quickly confirmed the booking. I received instructions for when and when to meet in good time, and overall this is a very smoothly organised trip. Our friendly guide looked after us well (I think his name was Daryan??) arranging for us to shelter from some stormy weather in the Savoia Hotel whilst waiting for the minibus to arrive. A very memorable day! Thank you!

Igor was an amazing guide and the caves where the single most impressive thing I have ever seen traveling this world (and we have been to over 40 countries). The capital city of Slovenia was also worthy and very informative. Anyway, it was all that and now I have been to Slovenia!!!!

Really fun overall though a little expensive, maybe because it’s so popular that there are more visitors than tours to accommodate. Narrow and windy roads are what take up most of the time, wish they could improve that some, especially with the number of visitors. Excellent driver and guide but unfortunately I don’t remember their names.

I had an absolutely unforgettable experience visiting Postojna Cave in Slovenia. The cave itself is breathtaking, with massive stalactites and hidden chambers. The highlight was definitely the train tour—such a front-row seat to the cave’s magic. We did book a private small group tour, but unfortunately, it ended up being a large bus with a lot of cruise passengers, which was a bit disappointing. Still, the cave itself and the guide were phenomenal—it’s a must-see in Slovenia!

It is worth it. You visit two spectacular sites with enough time to see everything. There is no guide in Spanish, but with an Italian guide and the audio guides in Spanish, it is sufficient to understand what you are visiting.
