Top Tel Aviv Outdoor Activities

This trip is amazing! It was made so especially by our guide/driver Uvi who put everything into making it enjoyable. This man is a wealth of knowledge, humourous and great company. If in Israel this trip is a must, you won’t regret it!

We had an amazing trip to Masada and the Dead Sea! Floating in the Dead Sea was unforgettable, and exploring the Masada hilltop fortress was fascinating. A big thank you to our guide, Jakob, for his excellent knowledge and engaging stories. Highly recommend this tour!

We really enjoyed this activity. The hike up in the darkness and reaching the top at sunrise was absolutely amazing as the weather was a bit cooler. It got hot by the time we were in ein gedi but absolutely beautiful there too! We ended the tour with swimming / floating in the Dead Sea and covering us in the mud.

The views from the Golan Heights are amazing. You can see over Sea of Galilee, where the Golan Heights dominates the outlook. There are lots of strategic factors, including religion. The Golan Heights are in the north-east of Israel, it's well worth a tour.

This review is a little overdue. I took the Dead Sea Tour that included Jericho and the Jordan River this past summer with Bein Haim Tourism Services. This tour is not for the faint hearted especially during the summer. For example, Jericho was fairly steep for me and the trail up to the top of Mount Temptation was a hot challenge even after a cable car ride. Nevertheless, Bein Haim Tourism Services provided us efficient and cool transportation and tasty fare. Our tour guide Yoav Malachi was also extremely knowledgeable and helpful, being very patient extending a helping hand when needed to ensure everyone was well hydrated, comfortable and safe. Wearing a hat is highly recommended. Thank you, Yoav, for your cheery kindness in the sweltering heat. I learned a lot and look forward to my next visit.

The tour with Bein Harim was enjoyable. But the best part was Avi, our tour guide. His knowledge of the history and cultures made it interesting and his humor kept us lively!

Amazing day with Samuel getting us to Masada for a dawn walk up the snake path to the Masada fortress.Samuel then shared the fascinating background to the Dead Sea ecosystem and current ecological challenges. He gave excellent advice. It was 40 degrees celcius and he helped ensure we all stayed safe and hydrated in a beautiful but challenging environment.Great value for money and a wonderful day. Thank you Samuel

Very well organized trip. Our guide Ami Bar Gil was very knowledgeable and experienced. Dead Sea resort provides everything - showers, bar with air-conditioning, beds, umbrellas, shops...

Shlomi with tour Israel took us to Masada and the Dead Sea! It was a jam packed day filled with adventure, information, humor, and great people. The driver Basheer was also amazing. Love them!

Excellent tour with our guide Avi, who was, once more, a very knowledgeable guide who shared the historical background and today‘s situation in a very interesting and understandable way. The spirit of Masada was very catching. Our driver Gabi completed the team, driving us safely with excellent taste in music. Can strongly recommend the tour.

This was my first time in Israel, ive always wanted to visit Golan Heights, i booked this tour and I can honestly say our tour guide 'Avishai Levi' was so passionate, amazing, informative and extremely kind and helpful. He took his time to explain things properly, and made the tour super fun. You can really tell that Avishai was extremely knowledgable about this area. I would like to Thankyou Mr Avishai Levi for making this tour super fun and memorable. Being back home now from Israel, I can still remember my Golan Heights tour. This was very special, Thankyou once again, from Rashi :)

We booked a multiple day tour from Bein Harim and this was our third day. We were picked up with a short delay of fifteen minutes (just as it is written in the documents they have sent). This time, we only had a driver and a tourguide in one, which made it a bit more difficult to understand. Sometimes, the guide interrupted while speaking, because he needed to focus on the traffic. And sometimes, we could not hear him well enough, because he turned his head aside to lock at the traffic. When he did this, his mouth was no longer in front of the microphone, wherefore a headset would have been better. Nevertheless, it is an interesting tour and gave an insight into the country of Israel by a perspective of defense. It was interesting to see the neighbour countries on the Mount Tal, to see the military base there and to even see a butterfly (Dovetail) there. Also the visit in Katzrin was great, especially because the celebrated on that they the anniversary of the Yom Kippur war (the victory of it). What also needs to be mentioned is the love for Israel our Tourguide Abishai showed. He told us some insider facts about Israel as for example the reason for the star of David in their flagg. There is one thing you'd need to consider when going on this tour: Toilets are generally available, but not at every stop.

A few of the reviews me semi skeptical but couldn’t have been more wrong. Coach driver was extremely informative, cracked a few good jokes and made sure we were aware of our surroundings. Although I guide wasn’t provided, I felt he ticked all the boxes in terms of information. Timing were all spot on, just a shame you don’t get much more time at Ein Gedi but completely understandable given the circumstances of timings.

Amazing. Tour kicked off on time and our guide/driver was just wonderful, friendly, insightful and patient. Noting this is pretty much a self guided tour with a driver for the full day. We had a wonderful time! Suitable for groups, couples and solo travelers.

Amazing joy and experience being in salt water, floating and pulling soft black muds from the grounds and robbing it on your skin. I can not describe the feeling but I hope everyone would get the opportunity to experience this incredible moment and completely relax. Thank you Cool Destinations for connecting me to best tours.

Wonderfully organized! Yuval was an awesome guide. Learned a ton on the way to Jerusalem, then on down to the Dead Sea for the day. I wanted a quiet day of rest and meditation, so I skipped the Masada portion and opted to have a gorgeous day at the Dead Sea….but others said Masada was also amazing. Really appreciated the trip to Jericho before returning. Perfect day trip! I’ve been to Israel many times but can’t believe I hadn’t put the Dead Sea higher on the priority list… absolutely worth it. Bought a bunch of fun skin care gifts to bring home for friends and family. Thanks Yuvi!
