Beautiful, cultural day trip.
We spent a really enjoyable day with Ivo. He is really knowledgeable about Bulgaria, it's nature, history (ancient and modern), food, culture and what makes the Rhodope mountain area particularly special. We talked culture, history, politics and philosophy, and life in general, but we also enjoyed long moments of quiet peaceful contemplating just being in this special place. His passion and spirit really rubbed off on us; he has a wise head on young shoulders. We felt we really connected with this special area and culture. Thanks so much for an enjoyable and educational day!

The view of the natural bridges is very interesting and unique. The traditional restaurant is good. The guide Adrian proved to be knowledgeable, helpful, and punctual. They accepted a street that was not listed in their directory as a pickup location, making the trip easier for us. Everything met our expectations... It is definitely worth it.

I got this tour from Lubomir, the guide from penguin travel Ik was a very nice experience, the horses were very loved and taken care of and paired with the bulgarian autumn landscape and the very nice company of the tour guide, lubomir, it made for a memory I won't easily forget. Everything was well taken care of , the food was amazing, the visit to the red church made for a great stop in-between riding the horses Thank you for the great time and the conversations If I get the chance to do it once more I definitely will

We had an absolutely great time riding in the beautiful landscapes of vineyards and Rhodope mountains. Our guide Lubomir took great care of everything: horses and saddles preparation, safety, lunch, water supply. He will not only guide you and tell you everything you need to know about the horses, he will also tell you local stories and ways of life of the locals in the Rhodopes. The horses are super calm, they are really smart and well-trained. They make you feel confident and comfortable even if you're an absolute beginner (like we are).The whole experience was great and absolutely worth it. Totally recommend.

Honestly, this experience felt like stepping right into a fairytale! When my son planned this trip, he told me, “You’ll be riding a horse through the forest, just like Madame Bovary,” and he couldn’t have been more right! It felt like a journey back in time, and I can’t even describe how good it felt for my soul. I had never ridden a horse before, yet somehow I managed! Zhivko, the owner of the horses, was amazing — he gave us clear, easy-to-follow instructions and trusted us to take on some challenging trails. Thanks to him, we had an unforgettable adventure! He also captured beautiful photos and videos, making this memory even more special. All in all, an absolutely wonderful experience! Highly recommended. Thank you so much!

Overall I had a great experience hiking to Musala Peak solo with Kamen from Plovdiv Trips in January 2025. He picked me up near my hostel, and then we went all the way to Borovets by car to catch the ski lift up to the starting point. During the hike Kamen was good at letting me walk at my own pace, which made it way more easier for me to focus on my steps and breath.Already before the hike I felt safe around Kamen, because he gave me much relevant information on the Musala hike regarding weather conditions, equipment and so on, when we were texting via WhatsApp. He did bring hiking poles, snow shoes and gaiters.I can highly recommend to go on the Musala hike with Kamen in the winter season :)
