Alan my guide was exceptional. I had not gone diving in over 12 years so he quickly reviewed everything pertinent. This was a shore dive which I typically find more difficult than a boat dive but he assisted with everything. Helping me get my tank in as well as flippers on in the surf. Had an excellent time. Totally recommend underdog divers!!!!

Alan took my wife and me on our very first scuba diving experience, and honestly, it was absolutely incredible! From the moment we started, Alan took the time to walk us through everything, explain the ropes, and make sure we felt comfortable and confident. He was professional, knowledgeable, and safety-focused, but also made the whole experience so much fun. We spent the day laughing, enjoying ourselves, and taking in an experience we’ll never forget. What started as a one-time vacation activity has officially turned into a new obsession. I’m already planning to add scuba diving to every vacation from now on — and we’re actually going back for a second dive while we’re still here in Aruba! If you’re considering diving, especially for your first time, I genuinely couldn’t recommend Underdog Divers more. Alan made the experience unforgettable. 10/10 experience. Absolutely worth it! 🤿🌊

We dived with Alan, he was an amazing instructor! He explained everything very well and was very calm. In the beginning we were a little nervous, but he calmed us down and explained how to breathe better! It was a great experience and I would highly recommend it. Amazing service provided by the tour operator S.E. Aruba Fly n Dive which I booked through Cool Destinations/ Cool Destinations. Service by the tour operator was amazing with snacks and drink provided. I did run into an isssue where I specified transportation to and from my hotel during the booking process. However, Cool Destinations/ Cool Destinations did not pass the information to S.E. Aruba Fly n Dive. Since my confirmation emails didn't mention a pickup, I contacted S.E. Aruba Fly n Dive directly through Whatsapp. They informed me that this is a recurring issue even with past customers who booked through Cool Destinations and its partners even after they have repeatedly informed Cool Destinations. Good thing I contacted the S.E. Aruba Fly n Dive directly and arranged transportation with them. I advice you to do the same.

I highly recommend this shop. The owner pauline did a private 2 tank shore dive and it did not disappoint. She was super friendly and a great guidw. This was my first shore dive i ahve always done boats it was the greatest experience. Knowing in wanted to see turtles she booked an appintment with them and we saw plenty. Read her story on the website main reason i chose this outfit. I will absolutely book with them again.

I have logged many dives all over the Caribbean, but this experience topped them all! The entire operation runs like a well-oiled machine. The dive boat was comfortable, clean, and spacious, and the rental equipment provided was in pristine condition.Our dive guide were exceptional. He knew the local dive sites like the palm of his hand. We did two incredible dives and saw an abundance of marine life, including sea turtles, sting ray, and a healthy coral reef ecosystem. The briefing was thorough, safety protocols were strictly followed, and the overall atmosphere on the boat was fun and relaxed.Between the dive spots, the professional crew, and the flawless logistics, this shop sets the gold standard. Thank you for an unforgettable day under the surface. I will definitely be back for more dives next time I am on the island.

It’s a great dive experience, the dive instructor Ray did a small review and basic training for which includes a well in-depth Dive gear, breathing exercises, regulator training, removing water from snorkle. Then went for a 45 minute dive, saw some turtles and Corel reefs! Staying calm while under water is very important!

I had an amazing experience with Alan as my scuba diving instructor! At 56 years old, this was my very first scuba dive, so I was definitely nervous. Alan was absolutely wonderful at calming my nerves and making me feel comfortable from the very beginning.He explained everything perfectly, was incredibly patient, and never made me feel rushed or intimidated. He was professional, polite, encouraging, and so much fun to be around! I always felt safe and in good hands.Thanks to Alan, I was able to relax, enjoy the experience, and create an incredible memory. My first dive was even better than I imagined, and I’m already looking forward to doing it again!If you’re a first-time diver—or nervous about trying it—I highly recommend Alan! Had a wonderful experience on two separate private afternoon dives with Alan! These were my first open water dives post certification and I am so grateful to have booked with such a patient and competent guide. We saw hundreds of fish, a six foot moray eel, a small octopus and sea turtles. I definitely recommend the photo option as well. I’ve really enjoyed the photo/video footage from the dives. Now my husband wants to get certified too!!

I found this excursion on Cool Destinations and reached out to Underdog Divers directly because I had a few questions before booking. Pauline responded almost immediately, answered every question thoroughly, and made the entire booking process incredibly easy. After I sent our sizing information and PADI certification cards, everything was set!From the moment she picked us up at our hotel—with delicious traditional Aruban pastechi for breakfast—I knew we were in great hands. I was specifically looking for a private diving experience with someone who genuinely knew the island and could take us to incredible, less-crowded dive sites, and Pauline exceeded every expectation.She gave us three shore dive options, and we chose Santo Largo. While there’s a bit of a swim to reach the dive site, it’s absolutely worth it. Once you arrive, you’re rewarded with a stunning sloping reef, massive elephant ear corals, and, best of all, multiple sea turtles. It was easily one of the most beautiful dives we’ve ever experienced.Throughout the dive, Pauline captured amazing photos and videos, allowing us to relive the experience long after we surfaced. Her professionalism, knowledge, and passion for diving made this one of the highlights of our trip to Aruba.If you’re looking for a personalized, unforgettable dive experience with someone who truly cares about making it special, I can’t recommend Underdog Divers and Pauline highly enough!

We absolutely LOVED diving with S.E. Aruba Fly & Dive! The Crew was friendly, so much fun but made sure to put out safety first !! They had the boat up and ready to go for us each morning and took us on some really great dives !!! We felt safe & comfortable diving !!

Very enjoyable experience with the Se-Aruba crew. Paula picked me up at my hotel, which happened to be on the other end of the island and delivered myself as well as 2 folks from cruise ships to their small shop on the water. We got a good briefing after signing an extensive and well-written waiver form ( don't be intimidated by that-this is normal). The boat was already equipped with tanks with BCs loaded up. We had a full complement of 12. We used a slightly different dive profile with a shallow dive first then a deeper dive. The shallow dive at Garden Reef was a display of a wide variety of coral along with almost every colorful reef fish in the book. We even spotted a green moray eel. The second dive was on an old airplane wreck at the Sonesta Reef. This DC9 was pretty intact, which allowed the more experienced divers to do a penetration through the fuselage. Very cool. And the reef fish were even more plentiful here. One of the best parts was at the end of the dive they would remove your fins to make it easier to climb into the boat. Lots of personal attention and helpfulness that I appreciated as a 74 year old diver. Highly recommend their operation.

Ray was great ! Very patient very understanding very charismatic funny helpful knowledgeable. 100% recommend this experience if you’re in Aruba, it is a must do ask for Ray.

I had Alan as a guide and as it was my first time Scuba diving he made it super simple and easy to follow. I was supposed to have a different guide but they called in sick. The manager messaged me and was going to cancel but with it being my last day they were able to squeeze me in with Alan. It was great and I thanked them for being so flexible and allowing me to still dive before I left!

Had an awesome time! The dive felt surreal, the waters colors were vibrant, we saw hundreds of fish, turtles, and coral. The instructor Alan is awesome. I had trouble breathing underwater at first and he helped calm me down and taught me the best way to breathe. We also learned a few scenarios that might happen and how to resolve it. If you’re visiting Aruba you must experience it.
