Top Netherlands Theme Parks

This is a must do thing in Amsterdam, especially if you have kids. It’s educational and to understand the extent of the land reclamation is impressive, followed by a fun virtual flight ✈️ over the Netherlands.

Intense sensations! Immersive trip to plan! The visit is stunning with genuine sensations.

Beautiful park. Especially for smaller children. The park is set up like a fairy tale. Everything is very lovely and with attention to detail. The wait times in May were very moderate and good. We never had to wait in line for long. Going early is worth it. However, since the park is very large, you cannot see everything in one day. There is an area for small children and a large "children's" one. The price is rather high, but the park really does offer superlatives. The only thing we did not like was 1001 Nights, which was more of a house of horrors than a fairy tale =)

I went to the Efteling with 3 of my friends on Saturday, August 22nd. It was my very first time and I really enjoyed it.The park has a beautiful and clean appearance. The queues were not long, not even for a day during the summer holidays. The theming in the park is very well adjusted to each spot and nicely complements the different attractions.Besides enjoying the park itself, I must say that the interactions I had with the staff really ruined the experience. In the afternoon, my friends and I got a glitter tattoo. And a really big shout out to Jonathan who put that up for me. Jonathan not only got a very good tattoo (which was still there after 1 week!) but also took the time to have a very nice conversation with us. I immediately felt at home and the experience was truly fantastic.I would also like to give a shoutout to the employees who were at Dans Macabre between 9 and 10 pm. The boy who was with the broom at the virtual queue (He scared us, was very good in his "role," but could also have a good conversation) and the boy who was walking around in the queue and opened the door for us, he was also very good in his role, but also joined in with us when we were being "funny" to him. We were also able to speak to him briefly at the little square of the virtual queue and got a photo with him! Unfortunately, we couldn't see what these two boys were called, but they really ruined our day! We will certainly not forget these interactions!

OPEN on Mondays and Tuesdays (Aug '26), they just haven't updated Google Maps or Cool Destinations.This is great quality and entertainment, if you like model trains and extended landscape and buildings to go with them. On par with Hamburg (not associated with) just not on as many floors but still big.The 'Bookie' map guide for 50c includes vouchers for second cup of coffee free, 10% discount on their Jubilee book, a subsequent visit €1 for 1 person per voucher.

The Netherlands and Rotterdam on the ground floor, Britannia in the basement! (and a bit of Normandy coast: The landing of the Princess Irene Brigade in Operation Overlord).

This was my 1st x at This is Holland but wow what was this cool!! The history of the Netherlands in itself, but the flight simulator is really cool! Because you lift off the ground and move along, it's as if you are really flying Super super cool! I will definitely be back

From 10am to 10pm we were all smiling! This is an absolutely brilliant, unexpected, magical place! The staff were wonderful, loads of variety of rides for everyone and a genuinely brilliant day. Be prepared to do a lot of walking but if is absolutely worth it!

The activity was well curated that it moved me. I’m super grateful we took this activity. The “rise” of the people of Holland to protect its land and people from the devastation brought by flood is very inspiring. The continued loss of lives and homes in The Philippines brought by floods has a solution after all. Grateful to the creators. Definitely a “must-see”!

The Efteling is a fantastic, green theme park and unique in its kind. Accessible for the whole family. Also for disabled people. Everything is always taken care of and arranged to perfection. From the Fairytale Forest for the little ones to the daredevil roller coasters for the ‘big kids’; you’ll find it all there. Food is diverse and generally very good. Is high in our top 3!

Lovely place layout is amazing staff friendly. Had planned to only be hhrre till lunch time ended up staying till closing as grandson was having such a good time.

Truly amazing. We’ve seen train scenes and layouts before, but this is EPIC! The shear scale of this place is mind-blowing and the attention to detail incredible. We noticed some fun things that showed the sense of humor of the builders. (Water-skiing cows, anyone?) This was a really fun experience.

Nice 4-d ride over the Netherlands. Surprising!

Can honestly say this was one of the best experiences of our lives. It started with photographs followed by 2 educational, informative & interesting videos about the history of Holland and how it was made. There was then an amazing 5D flight simulator that took you on a tour of Holland. It was like a rollercoaster but better - the seats moved, there was water spray when you went through clouds, smell of flowers when you flew over Tulip Fields and stunning views too. The staff were incredibly friendly and chatty. We booked with the iamsterdam card so our tickets were free. As a wheelchair user the venue was fully accessible and you could get a free carer's ticket. A 100% must do if you're in Amsterdam.

One of the best interactive indoor experiences I‘ve ever had. And also really informative, about the Dutch culture, the history, why many cities have ,,Dam“ in their name, and much more. All of it was told in a nice interactive, fun way, not just like monotonous documentary style! The highlight of course is the flight over Holland in a 5-D Cinema! You really get a feeling for the country, their traditions, known sights, and much more!

You could learn a lot (even if you are not from Holland, you can partly understand what is being said and there are subtitles in English) in the show and the flight was truly very enchanting.
