Freddy was a great guide, he was very knowledgeable in Fijian history and culture, pointing out plants and their traditional uses on the way.Freddy was also very friendly and funny and had a number of informative stories and anecdotes which gave us an insight into the Fijian way of life without being too long-winded.The drive to the start is an adventure on it's own with lots of sights to see. The walk itself was rough but easily walked in sneakers, great views and an opportunity to take a dip in the pool under the waterfallHighly recommend this as an alternative to the usual beach trips to see a different side of Fiji and contribute to the local community.

What's an absolutely wonderful day! Paul was an absolute pleasure as a tour guide. To see the school and the children. They were so happy to see us and to talk to us. The Indian family, so inviting and had the most amazing pumpkin curry and roti. The mulomulo village will now hold a very special place in our hearts and we can not wait to come back and re visit them. It was the true experience that we have always wanted. Absolutely incredible experience. The guides picked us up from our Airbnb and drove us to the start of the hike. On the drive to the hike, the guides were teaching us about the area and some of Fiji's history. The view from the top was amazing and they even provided us with snacks and water.I highly recommend doing a hike with this company during your time in Fiji.

we had a wonderful experience with Lina. Unfortunately, due to the cyclone and flooding our itinerary changed, but Lina made every effort to ensure we still had an authentic Fiji experience. We still visited a school and the fruit and veg market, followed by a village visit in a different area. Finally, instead of lunch in the village, we went to a restaurant that served authentic Fiji food, which was delicious. We were a family of 6 adults, no rushing, and Lina was full of Fiji knowledge. Highly recommend "off the grid tours" for a true Fiji experience

This hike was such a wonderful experience. Everything ran smoothly from the start, which made it easy to just relax and enjoy the day. The scenery was beautiful — every turn seemed to offer something new to admire.What really stood out were the little touches, snacks provided along the way, interesting bits of history, and the great company that made the whole trip feel special. It wasn’t just about the hike itself, but the way it all came together.I left feeling refreshed, connected, and grateful for the experience. Highly recommend to anyone looking for a memorable adventure.

The trail we were signed up for was closed, but the replacement trail was very nice but shorter. The waterfall pool was lovely. Our guide Freddy was fabulous. He was very knowledgeable and personable. He looked out for us and made sure that we had a memorable experience.

We had a great experience, everyone was so accommodating. Markets were great. School was good to see how it was all set out . The village Chief was very informative and funny, was a pleasure being there. The Authentic Fijian food at Fijian restaurant was fabulous and very relaxing. Would luv to go again, Thankyou to everyone who made it a special tour.

This was one of the highlights of our trip to Fiji. The tour gave us a genuine insight into local village life — warm smiles, welcoming people, and a real sense of community. Visiting the school and meeting the children was such a beautiful and humbling moment. Fiji has many gems like unspoiled beaches, clear waters to view colorful coral and fish when snorkeling/diving and wonderful friendly people but it also has beautiful mountain forests. Our guide, Ice shared a hidden gem of a hiking trail with spectacle views. He was very knowledgeable and personable. Hiking was at a good pace and he adjusted quickly when we wanted to spend time searching for birds while in our hike. We highly recommend Ice for your guide!

Enjoyed the cultural experiences, meeting and eating with local families. Especially enjoyed visiting the village, participating in the welcoming ceremony and eating a delicious meal. Very educational and met our expectations.
