Our guide Slava from Voyages Moldavie was very knowledgeable and we enjoyed spending the day with him. We choose to have lunch included and he ordered us traditional Moldovan food that was delicious.

A really good tour to beautiful and peaceful locations. Our guide was excellent and knowledgeable. The monastery was highlight. Such stunning surroundings. This is a wonderful way to explore Moldova outside of the capital. A really real ‘must’ for including, in any visit to Chisinau.

This was an interesting and beautiful tour. Our guide was personable and worked to tailor our experience to our interests. All in all an enjoyable day spent in the Moldovan countryside at a site less frequented by foreign tourists.

If you have some time after seeing the must-see sights of Moldova, this visit is worthwhile. It offers a different perspective of the country, especially since our guide was fantastic.

Very pleasant visit with my family, our very professional and patient guide. Made us a very complete story about Moldovan history, and showed us well around the village ... The restaurant where have it stopped for lunch was excellent, typical cuisine as well as the very warm setting.

The driver and tour guide Mr Corneliu picked me up at the hotel on time. From then on we started north with various stops and sightseeing until we stopped at lunch by the river. In the afternoon, the Tipova Cave Monastery was in order, followed by a very interesting hike. The trip was perfect and I can recommend it to anyone

I had a great tour with Alex yesterday who was a terrific guide. He speaks excellent English and was very knowledgeable about the places he took me to. We had some great discussions on all manner of topics during the trip.

Very nice drive to make 2 stops to see monasteries. Tour guide went out of his way so I could take a picture of Stephen the Great statue.

Very good off-the-beaten-path tour. Unique experience to visit and tour the monastery built into the cliff wall. Definitely have the lady at the monastery give a tour if offered, she brought the place to life. If you’ve got an extra day while visiting Chisinau, recommend this tour for an added experience.

My tour guide Tim was excellent! Fluent in English. He is very good at telling traditions and reporting on the country and people. He has a very broad knowledge of the country, culture, economy and much more. The tour was exclusively focused on cultural sites, of which there would be more. No photograph can reflect what you see and experience in person. Monasteries are very well preserved. Hiking trails are well signposted. Pure nature!

I had a terrific tour with Moldova Tours and my guide Nicolai. Nicolai picked me up from my apartment in Chisinau, we made a short stop in the interesting town of Orhei along the drive to Tipova, we walked to the cliff monastery ruins overlooking the Dniester River, hiked to a lookout point and the Old Mill Waterfall (2:45 round trip), enjoyed a delicious meal at Hanul lui Hanganu guesthouse in Lalova, and then drove back to Chisinau. Nicolai offered many interesting insights into the history and current events of Moldova and was a great guide and travelling partner and we had many interesting conversations. Communication with the agency was clear and helpful. I'm very happy to have booked this rural tour, which nicely complimented a day and a half in Chisinau.

Great experience, perfectly designed to see most of what’s to be seen in the area in a condensed timeframe & with comfort. Andrian is very nice, provider a wealth of information of Moldova past & contemporary, and gives plenty of flexibility to enjoy things at your own rhythm. The lunch he recommended was super good and incredible value for money. I’m female, was travelling solo and felt super safe all the time :)

Lilly was very profissional, humorous and available. This is a must do tour in the country as it covers the most basic attractions. Excellent tour.
